Breakfast was indifferent but after check- in there was time to go to a store to get what was necessary. I liked seeing the stars at night. I liked how cozy the suite was and how well equipped the kitchen and bathroom were.

Set in Ganges in the Salt Spring Island region, Thistle Dew Cottage has a balcony. This guest house offers free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. The Cottage was fantastic, just what I needed for my solo visit to Salt Spring Island. Well equipped with essential food and snacks and washing equipment, which was very handy for me as I biked from Victoria and packed light. The bed was so comfy and the cottage has a real charm to it, the photos don't do it justice! Location is great for Ganges and there are some nice trails nearby. The Salt Spring Wild Cider house is on the doorstep and a visit here is a must. The food and cider are amazing. The owner Pauline is one of the loveliest people I have ever met, a true Canadian gem! Her life story is amazing, she is a mine of information and she goes well out of her way for people. I really hope to be back some day soon!

I was shocked at how well kept, clean, and fresh everything looked. They must have recently renovated or painted or something because it's very beautiful. So cozy. Perfect location. Everything you need.

8 km from Salt Spring Golf & Country Club, Raven's Cache Bed and Breakfast is a recently renovated property situated in Ganges and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Superb customer service, the owner went out of their way to drop and pick us up to and from downtown since we didn't bring a car.
