Marta was an exceptional host. She was so friendly from arrival to our departure. She walked us to our room and pointed out some notable feature including homemade biscuits at the coffee bar. Marta welcomed us for pre-dinner cocktails and helped us choose outdoor seating. The meal was delicious, and the service was top notch. I was sad not to be staying longer! The room was very comfortable and I loved the farmhouse character of the property.

such a beautiful pretty place in country Wales. it was just how I pictured it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was so good, it was plentiful with lots of options.

The George is a beautiful old property with a lot of history. The pub is amazing. It has a fabulous atmosphere, and was a lovely base to spend a weekend in the Forest of Dean. The room was very comfortable and well equipped. The beams added their own charm to the room, but it was also modern and well decorated. The landlord and the manager were very welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. We particularly enjoyed hearing about the history of the pub. We didn’t get the chance to eat at the pub, because we were going out with friends, but the food looked amazing. We will have to return to try it in the near future.

Dinner was great, beer was cold, and music was awesome! People were extremely friendly and it was a fun experience. I needed good WIFI for a few online meetings, and it worked perfectly. The area around the hotel has a ton of other restaurants and shops. Highly recommended.

All staff were exceptional and would like to give a huge shout out to Debbie & Jade both ladies were the epidimy of professionalism yet friendly and skilled in their careers...great people & the restaurant food is epic, yummy, yummy!

The apartment was very comfortable, nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The stay was a brief overnight stay and I didn’t have an opportunity to explore the area but the location is very pretty.
