This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool. What an incredible decoration. The property is so pretty with all the turbines from the days the hotel was a power station, mixed with modern paintings and what not. Really adds to the atmosphere. It's connected to a gastropub which was very convenient in the evening because we were tired and didn't even have to leave the property to have a nice burger and beers(plus live music). The breakfast is amazing, I got myself a delicious eggs benedict with smoked salmon. There was loadshedding but the hotel honors its past and has a generator so we were not left in the dark. Finally, loved the vibe in Thesen Island, the canals, the calm streets, etc.

Situated on the edge of the picturesque Knysna... amazing location, inside of a boutique building with restaurants and stores. the room was beautiful with great view. the staff is super nice, and the breakfast restaurant was delicious!!! loved it

The amenities was more then any other place we stayed. She really thought about everything. The location is great and was easy to visit places around.

The studio is beautiful, well decorated and very comfortable. Everything was impeccable, super clean and the view is amazing! Di could not have been nicer welcoming us to the property, and gave s all the instructions we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is gorgeous and we really enjoyed a canoe ride early in the morning through the canals. Great location in Knysna, cannot recommend enough!

Swallows Nest on Thesen, smeštajni objekat sa vrtom i terasom, smešten je u gradu Knisna, na 7,8 km od znamenitosti Golf i kantri klub Simola, 8,1 km od znamenitosti Litice The Heads u Najsni i 8,3 km... We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Swallows Nest. A beautiful and central home nesstled in serene surroundings. The host was friendly and the home had everything that we needed. The house is perfectly located at the heart of the Garden Route, and it suits us as a starting point to travel the area. The host, Carla, was available for any question and was extremely friendly and helpful.
