Built in 1925, the historic Eliot Hotel is located in Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood. It offers an on-site sashimi bar and elegantly decorated rooms with down comforters and marble bathrooms. Really great atmosphere, super nice personnel, nice spacious rooms -- and not important, no fidgeting with the shower knobs!

I have not stayed at The Lenox for 10 years. I returned to The Lenox because my previous stays were excellent and I was not disappointed. All of the staff are unfailingly polite, cheerful and helpful. The housekeeping staff kept my room immaculate. The room size was very good and, as I had requested, it was a quiet room. Good choice of breakfast menu and all the food I ate in the hotel was a good quality. Unlike many larger hotels in Boston, The Lenox has a wonderful homely welcoming atmosphere. The hotel is in a perfect location for many nearby restaurants and bars, there is a transport stop (the T) one block from the hotel which makes it very easy to get around the city if you don't want to walk. If you like walking, it's only about 10 to 15 minutes to Boston Common and from there you can walk downtown or to the harbour front. You can also do a lovely walk alongside the Charles River.

This historic Back Bay district hotel is located in the former headquarters of the Boston Police Department. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the hotel and an on-site grill is available. great hotel in a great location …the staff were brilliant ….and the lounge with free tea/coffees was a lovely touch …will definitely be back
