Very nice hotel in close proximity Shennong Street. The rooms are modern and super clean, the bathroom is quite big. The owner is super friendly and everything is in great shape. I would definitely stay there again.

Situated in Tainan, 600 metres from Tainan Confucius Temple, U.I.J Hotel & Hostel features accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. if you're looking for a very comfortable hostel, this is it!! the bunk beds (12 people) were very comfortable, everyone has a shelf next to their bed box as well as a locker (big suitcases won't fit). you might think it gets very noisy in such a big dorm, but it was fine!! the shared bathrooms were clean and nice too, i looked forward to showering there after a sweaty day haha. despite every facility being a shared space, you have lots of privacy. the community room (?) was really comfortable and spacious with sofas and fatboys and a kitchen, it's great for working from there. there's a terrace too which i recommend spending time at at night! and lastly, the breakfast/restaurant was amazing, you can choose from a menu every morning and they will prepare a delicious meal for you. all in all felt like a pretty luxurious hostel :) would come back

We booked here when our previous accommodation fell through at the last minute, and we were very glad we did! The breakfast was really good, and rotated each of the 3 days were were there, so there was always something new to try. It was all various Taiwanese classic foods! The location is very convenient with easy walking distance to a variety of museums.
