The location of the hotel is amazing, close to the river, the heart of the town and very easy MRT access. The breakfast buffet was good with an important choice. The hotel offers a beautiful view to the harbor and the city. We enjoyed watching the fireworks a lot during New Year's Eve. Everything was very clean. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and goes the extra mile for you, especially the receptionist was outstandingly willing to help us with our needs. They speak very good English.

Q21 Hotel is situated a 3-minute walk from the famous Love River and within a 10-minute drive of shopping malls. It offers complimentary Wi-Fi access and houses a restaurant serving a breakfast... A really good 3-star hotel. The check-in went easy. We also speak Mandarin, but the reception spoke good English. The rooms were good, and the shower size was comfortable. It was easy to find some breakfast opportunities around. Close by, you can find YouBike(2) rental bikes. Also without biking, it is easy to discover the city by walking around. For us it was also no issue to walk to the famous Formosa MRT-station. You must have a bit of patience to enjoy the light show there. We recommend the hotel.

Kaohsiung Chateau de Chine Hotel is a Muslim-friendly accommodation offering modern guest rooms with free WiFi connection. It is only a 5-minute walk from MRT Yanchengpu Station. Location was near to airport since I was self drive in Taiwan. It was close to many attractions here, including the night market . Staffs were excellent, maybe is the Taiwan service culture. They even help us to locate the best local food here .
