Well set in the La Medina district of Tunis, Dar el médina is located 17 km from Salammbo Tophet Archaeological Museum, 400 metres from Dar Lasram Museum and 500 metres from Kasbah Square. We loved our stay so much, we extended it. The breakfast was phenomenal, the rooms beautiful and the staff fantastic. A special shoutout to Nede at reception, she was so kind and helpful. All the staff really made our stay exceptional. Do note, that since the stay is located within the Medina, you cannot drive right up to it or have a taxi take you to the entrance. It's not a long walk from the entrance though.

The building is unique, feels like living in a palace. Staff was very friendly and tipped us of on where to go for dinner, even made reservations.

It's a place like out of a fairytail with very friendly & helpful stuff. The restaurant serves delicious meals & the location in the middle of the medina is great (if You get lost, just ask Google Maps, it will bring You home). I recommend also to spend some hours in the hammam. If we come back to Tunis, we will stay here again - for sure

Maison typique de la médina features a terrace and is located in Tunis, within just 90 metres of Dar Lasram Museum and 300 metres of Sidi Mahrez Mosque. The house really is amazing. The decoration is just awesome, even the bathrooms are cool and the beds are comfortable. In addition there is a rooftop where you can take a look at the city Skyline. Additionally the location is very good too, within walkikg distance to main attractions. The host was very helpful.
