Just a 10-minute drive from Christchurch city centre, Ascot Vale Motor Lodge offers self-contained accommodation with free WiFi. All rooms feature a lounge area and a satellite flat-screen TV. The place is near to restaurant, Univ, and shops. It is also near a bus stop which makes everything very convenient. It is about 10mins to city centre by Uber and just barely 5-7minutes to the airport. They are also accommodating since I arrived late. No fuss check in and very easy and convenient. Will stay here again.

Just want to thank the lovely family who manage the Vita Nova Motel for a great stay. We landed at midnight and we were able to arrange a late checkin. The unit was really clean, bed was so comfortable, Netflix to chill out at night, had all the necessary amenities and great service. Daily house keeping was excellent, she was thorough and showed great attention to detail. Laundry facilities were useful. Location was great, central to everything. Would definitely stay again. Thanks again.

We stay here every time we travel to Christchurch as it suits our needs of wanting a two bedroom unit with small kitchenette, We stayed before and on return, of a trip overseas, when arriving on our return from overseas we arrived in the middle of the night, the host was excellent informing us of where the keys would be left for us, a light was left on and heater turned on to make the unit warm and cozy on our arrival which we really appreciated.
