Set in Christchurch, 1.2 km from Cashel Street Mall, Colombo Lodge Hotel features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and express check-in and check-out. It was very clean, bed was comfortable, free parking, price very fair and staff very nice. I don't have any complaints. Great place to stay.

Great location for us with hire car Easy outside street parking We were welcomed by Steve who was very knowledgeable, helpful and all round pleasant guy Room was absolutely fine (homely) Breakfast very good start to the day Shared Kitchen facilty very handy for the evening takeaways (very good local Souvlaki place) Available fridge well used We stayed a week using as our base and access around and about was easy but avoid rush hours if possible Within walking distance of the rugby ground (Orange Theory Stadium) abt 3k We would highly recommend and certainly use again !!

Lovely & clean, comfortable, spacious & stylish. Great location, nice & quiet. Loved that every room had it's own bathroom, great for groups. Highly recommend, we had a wonderful stay. Beautifully appointed apartment with everything a traveler could need. Groceries, shops and restaurants are steps away. We had a car so it was very easy to get downtown.Walkable if you're keen(1.2km) So much history and many things to do in Christchurch. I wish we had more than 2 days. A short drive to fantastic hikes (we did Mt Pleasant). Botanic Gardens are well worth a look. The apartment is at the back of a law office in a beautifully restored older home. Great open plan kitchen, dining, living space. Fantastic bathroom with tub and shower. Very comfy king bed. Laundry, washer, sink, drying rack and iron. Lovely deck and back garden. Quiet and private. Would definitely recommend.
