A 1921 home in Jodhpur, now restored into a vibrant heritage hotel. Resting inside a quiet residential neighborhood, Daspan House is your oasis to peace and tranquility. Beautiful secret gem, decorated with great, great taste. I loved the atmosphere: jazz music on the background (and no more elevator music like in so many other places). A beautiful lush garden, completely peaceful. In the evening, the illuminations are subtle and placed all around the tables, creating a very lovely and gentle atmosphere. The rooms are quite nice and perfectly cleaned and confortable. Breakfast buffet is Top ! The hotel management has made an effort to respect the environment: No more 8+ plastic water or shampoo bottles per room; instead, there are glas filtered water bottles that can be refilled, and bath towels are only replaced if necessary. A very positive aspect for this hotel.

Built in 1920, this architectural marvel, Ratan Vilas offers an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant that serves Indian and continental specialities. Everything! Our room was spacious and beautiful. Really reflective of the Indian culture and heritage of this property. Staff were amazing. Food was superb. Pool and gardens were fantastic - such a relaxing and serene oasis after a busy tour.

The location is very good, less than a KM from Jodhpur junction. You can easily get ola/uber/normal rickshaw from here. They upgraded my room when we reached the property. It was big and clean. Their staff is very friendly and they have elevator as well (I had senior citizens with me). Their roof top restaurant is beautiful and they also give dine in room facility. The food (separate bill) is very tasty. They have a separate room for breakfast and it had multiple options and all were tasty. They also prepared fresh tea (I wanted sugar free as my mom is diabetic) and staff was courteous and ready to help more. The hotel location makes it quite safe to travel even during late evening or early morning. I strongly recommend this place.
