We travelled through Java and Bali for one month, staying in seven different places, including some quite luxury ones. This was the place we liked the most. By far. Felt at home and relaxed inmmediately, with the sensation that everything is there and works, and is beautiful: villa, garden, pool, privacy... And if you want, you can find Marc and Ericka, who have very interesting explanations and stories about Indonesia (and life in general) and were always thinking about our wishes and about how to make our stay even nicer. Marc also explained a lot of things about animals in general (and their otters in particular) to our 12-year-old daughter. Very good memories of these five days! Would love to return!

Agus himself is an exceptional host. He organized a great tour to Ijen for me and shared many excellent recommendations for local activities and sights. His guidance and hospitality provided a much more authentic experience of the region than one can get elsewhere. Hope to visit again soon!
