It was a really great experience. The accommodation was exceptional! From the moment of greeting to the final farewell, everything was great. Gaba was a really good host, and helped with everything we needed. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with good views of the surroundings. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and they made us feel truly welcome. He makes you feel as a part of the community and we made a good friend! If you encounter problems he is always there to help :) They make a fire in the garden every night and we could spend time with the host, the staff and other guests and share precious times together. The location was also perfect if you are looking for a quiet time to relax with easy access to the best sights in the west bank. Gaba helped us always and organized transportation to the east bank for us. He also organized the travel for us to Aswan and Abu Simbel. We can recommend this accommodation to anyone and will definitely be coming back! This was our first stay in Egypt and it was a welcoming and great experience! Thank you a lot Gaba!

This was one of the best stays I have had with Booking.com. Mostafa, the owner of the hotel, provided us with the best hospitality. He made sure that we arrived safely, and always made sure everything was going well with the stay. He provided some great welcome lemon juice and teas. He organized us wonderful food (the best was the soup and the cheese!), and all of it was prepared by his wonderful family. At the hotel, there is also an incredible view of the Old Nile River, and if you are lucky you can even see some alligators. He also recommended great itineraries for us during our stays here. When we come back to Luxor, we will be sure to stay with him again. Highly recommend for all friends, family members and strangers.

It was a pleasure staying at Nour El Balad. It’s beautifully decorated and feels very authentic. It’s quiet and peaceful, the staff were friendly and the food was amazing. We had both breakfast and dinner which I highly recommend. The surrounding area is beautiful and the locals are very nice. Highly recommended for when you’re visiting the sights on the West Bank.

Staff are very helpful and friendly and even though committed 24/7, they all provide a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Free transfer by boat between the hotel and downtown Luxor is available around the clock upon call. The little restaurant offers a variety of tasty homemade food — a great breakfast, snacks for lunch and a diverse selection of dishes for dinner. All meals combine elements of the Egyptian and Western cuisine. Drinks (water, soft drinks, beer and a small selection of Egyptian wines) are also available, a specialty is the Turkish style coffee. The hotel offers a small pool perfectly suitable for a quick refreshment. Upon request, bicycles are available for rent, and the famous sights of the area (valley of the kings, valley of the queens, Hatshepsut temple - each approximately 8 km away one way) can be explored easily by bicycle! I lived for four years in Egypt, but this hotel was by far the nicest I ever had!

Egypt isn't a careless destination in terms of accessibility, cleanliness and comfort, but in the New Memnon hotel we were in the most friendly atmosphere, experiencing all the best features of the country and protected from it's less pleasant characteristics. Virtually everything was enjoyable - the rooms, the views, the food, the garden, the location, the stuff. Special thanks the hotel owner, Mr. Said, who made our stay there just magical.

The restaurant served for us very fresh and delicious food.. we also enjoy our time in the nice and clean swimming pool.. the Hotel arranged our tour to Dandara temple and Abydos Temple. Also the Sailing boat to see the sunset and the magical trip of the hot-air balloon.. The management and the team work was so kind and helpful .. Ayman &Mohammed were amazing in everything I recommend this nice Hotel..
