Located in San Jose, Alameda Cariari features an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi access and a tour desk. Amazing boutique hotel. Super nice staff. I liked the style of the hotel. Everything in the room was practical and at hand. I appreciated hotel pool, good breakfast, fast and stable wifi. It is very small and cosy.

This is a beautiful small hotel The staff is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed breakfast on the patio with beautiful landscape and view of the golf course and mountains. They also arranged for our rental car.

Just a 5-minute drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport, the City Express San José Aeropuerto offers free private parking and a gym. The functional modern rooms include free Wi-Fi. We booked this last minute after our original hotel proved to not be suitable for us on the last night of our trip. The value for money was exceptional in our opinion, the room was nothing special but it was all we needed for a stay near the airport on the final night of our trip. Breakfast was great too, everything you would expect it to have, and the hotel iteself was nice and clean. We also found the shopping centre across the road really handy.

Situated in San José, Hotel Vista De Golf features an outdoor pool and views of the pool. The hotel has a year-round outdoor pool and barbecue, and guests can enjoy a drink at the bar. This was my second stay, better than the first time. I had a great time at the nearby restaurants and bars, within walking distance to the hotel. The staff is so nice and helpful and it's such a pretty property not far from the airport. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable. My room this time had a full, private door on the bathroom.

On the outskirts of San José, just a 10 minutes' drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport, Wyndham San Jose Herradura offers 3 outdoor pools and a casino. Large hotel area, close to the Airport. Nice facilities and large rooms. I would recommend this hotel before or after the flight, as it is cheaper than the Jones directly by the airport. The hotel provides a FREE shuttle to the airport.

A former hacienda set on a 30-acre coffee plantation, this hotel features 2 outdoor swimming pools, a golf driving range and a coffee-inspired spa. Downtown San Jose is about 15 minutes’ drive away. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the beds were comfortable and clean - and the breakfast was amazing. We ate at both the sushi restaurant and the Kitchen, both were great! Food was amazing and the staff really friendly and professional! Part of our group visited the spa and really enjoyed it as well.
