Terrazas de Golf Boutique Hotel offers direct access to Cariari Golf Course and transportation to Juan Santamaría International Airport, which is 5 km away. Fantastic service, very clean, charming place with personality which makes you feel like you are in Costa Rica. A few hundred meters to a small center with a small supermarket and a handful of restaurants; we had Mexican which was nice. Solid breakfast included with fresh fruit, special made omelets, etc Our kid had birthday and the staff was so nice they had made a cake 🎂 which was a compliment from the house.

Just a 5-minute drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport, the City Express San José Aeropuerto offers free private parking and a gym. The functional modern rooms include free Wi-Fi. Spotlessly clean in all areas. Twin double beds. Locally there are two shopping centres with wide range of eateries. Breakfast was good - buffet style Costa Rican. The staff were helpful with trying to call other locations where we may have left something. Great transit hotel

On the outskirts of San José, just a 10 minutes' drive from Juan Santamaria International Airport, Wyndham San Jose Herradura offers 3 outdoor pools and a casino. I had a short overnight but really enjoyed the stay. It is a hotel from old days when furniture was made out of wood. Loved the comfortable beds, loved the huge space in the room + bathroom, loved the wooden smell. Slept like a baby

A former hacienda set on a 30-acre coffee plantation, this hotel features 2 outdoor swimming pools, a golf driving range and a coffee-inspired spa. Downtown San Jose is about 15 minutes’ drive away. The architecture was beautiful & the vibe was great! I loved falling asleep with the balcony door open & listening to the dulcet tones of people poolside chatting in Spanish below.
