The Ibis Luzern-Kriens offers a quiet yet central location at the foot of Mount Pilatus, next to the A2 motorway and only a few minutes away from Lucerne. Staff were very good. Nice place to eat next door. Breakfast & facilities good. Had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room window. We had the facility to warm our food using microwave in their bar area. This makes catering affordable as there are supermarkets nearby. The bus stop is nearby and also Kriens Mattenhof train station at double walking distance from bus stop.

Congrats if you see this comment 'coz you have found a gem just like I did :) Rainer was a great host, he really mean it when he said "welcome home". I have stayed at many backpacker hostels when traveling alone before this but none of them gave the same vibe as Rainer's place. I felt extremely calm and safe staying at his place. The homestay is beautiful, clean, warm, and equipped with everything we need (including converter, padlock, numerous charging points etc). It also has a great view and I enjoy looking at the scenery through the big window in the living room. I also love that they have female-only rooms and big bathrooms. I think people tend to just naturally mingle with each other under the comfortable atmosphere in the homestay. Everyone were just so lovely and friendly. Rainer sets few simple rules which give all the guests a peace of mind. As he is staying at the same place I could easily reach out to him if I had any questions. He will give a clear guidance once you make the booking and that basically will answer all the questions you may have about his place. Few quick pointers that may help: 1) Transport: There is a bus stop just 2min walking distance from the homestay and the bus never failed to arrive on time (helpful tips: use SBB apps to monitor the time schedule). The bus comes twice in an hour and takes around 18mins to town. 2) Early check in: As I reached Lucerne early in the morning Rainer allowed me to leave my luggage at the homestay before the check-in time 3) Breakfast/ Food: Simple breakfast (instant noodles, bread, cereals) with additional charges are provided, all prices are specified on the menu and you could just make your own payment using the credit card machine in the kitchen. You can also buy your own ingredients and cook. The kitchen are well equipped with the cooking utensils.

Offering a garden and garden view, Chlösterli is located in Luzern, 4.5 km from Lucerne Station and 5.7 km from Lion Monument. The location was perfect for my short stay in Lucerne. Lovely quiet neighborhood, but yet very close to the city center (about 10-15 min drive, depending on where you want to go) The room was very clean and spacious, the bed is massive and comfortable (i had a good night sleep). Bed sheets and towels smelled lovely. Bathroom was spotless with lots of space. The shower was powerful with plenty of hot water. There is also a bath tub, next to the window, but i haven't used it. There is a very good coffee machine in the room as well. Outside the garden is absolutely gorgeous, with an amazing view of the city. The property is surrounded by woodlands and you have your own private entrance. Last, but not least, the host Igor is really the coolest guy. Very polite, friendly and always there to help, smiling, hospitable. I would prefer Igor's place to any hotel and i really recommend this place to anyone looking for a good place to stay in Lucerne.

Located within the Kriens district in Luzern, Atikka, Ático, penthouse has air conditioning, a terrace, and quiet street views. Clean and well equipped, excellent facilities, beautiful views from an amazing terrace. 10 minutes by car from the centre of town. Right next to the motorway, but you don’t see or hear this at all. Friendly and helpful owner.

Olaf, the host was super helpful and addressed all our questions in an accurate and efficient manner. highly recommended location / Host

The Sonnenberg Hotel in Kriens offers panoramic views over Lake Lucerne, the mountains and the forest, a Nespresso machine in every room, seasonal cuisine and free WiFi. Booked 2 rooms and they were gracious to put us next to each other. Beautiful location with a stunning view. Breakfast was wonderful and all the staff were very friendly and more then happy to help. Room and bathroom were a good size with plenty of space for luggage. Would stay here again.

Located in Luzern and only 3.8 km from Lucerne Station, Silvia's Bed und Breakfast in Luzern provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Silvia was very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet, despite being next to railway. Breakfast was lovely. location was good. 5 minutes from city centre by train, which runs every 15 minutes.

Easy-Living Kriens Apartments is set in the Kriens district of Luzern, 3.8 km from Lion Monument, 4.1 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne and 4.2 km from Chapel Bridge. Loved the apartment, washing machine was great, easy for transport, very secure, groceries close by - all very comfortable.
