This hotel is set at the Leie River in the centre of medieval Ghent, 500 metres from Saint Bavo Cathedral and a 2-minute walk from Veldstraat Shopping District. Lovely hotel in centre of Ghent. We got a very big room with high ceilings. We arrived early and were given a room straight away because it was already cleaned. The pub has good food with big portions.

The room was quite clean, the bed was really comfortable. The location of the hotel is amazing. The staff was so friendly.

Excellent experience. Staff is very professional and gentle. Position is perfect as starting point to visit the historical center of Gent. Breakfast was great, various and abundant. Easy to reach with all main train lines stops at few minutes walk.

Set in a former Neo-Gothic monastery, Hotel Monasterium PoortAckere Ghent features a green courtyard and a bar, and offers rooms with free WiFi right in Ghent's historical centre. Wonderful place with character. The staff were helpful and friendly. The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice. Great location, only minutes to walk to the center of the city. Coffee in the room and a lovely cafe on the corner for breakfast. Grocery store just up the street. Loved everything about it.

This former monastery offers rooms in the centre of Ghent, only 10 minutes’ walk from the Belfry. PoortAckere dates from 1278 and offers unique character, free Wi-Fi and a garden terrace. it’s close to the main area of Ghent. and the staff members are nice too! Great variety of dishes for breakfast! also the bar at night time just to chill out. It’s a wonderful experience and will definitely come back one day ☺️

Located in Ghent, 44 km from Boudewijn Seapark, Heirloom Hotels - The Mansion features views of the city. If you love staying in a piece of history this old restored mansion made into a hotel was nice. The breakfast was decent selection.
