The people here are way more friendly, then I have experienced in some other parts North Dakota. I truly did not feel a lack of service anywhere I went and there is plenty of shopping and entertainment. Since I was here for work I didn't get to go a lot of places, but the shops I did go to had great gifts and souvenirs.

I have been here actually a few years and it's not a huge tourist town (no zoo, mall, museums etc) but if you DO need to stay here it's got a few places to visit. The food choices are mostly chain which isn't the greatest. Every place is what you make it, though!

Williston has great things to do.
Williston has great things to do. If you want a water park there is one at the Williston ARC. There is a jump park for the kids. There are events regularly downtown. If you like outdoor activities there are those too. Fishing, rockhounding, hiking trails at the confluence... lots of things you just have to look. The check-in/out process was seamless and quick and I was provided with a receipt immediately at check-in. There was ample parking and plenty of amenities. My room was clean and quiet. Appreciated the quality of toiletries and the range of beverages to purchase in the lobby. Most other guests seemed like regulars and were very quiet and respectful.
