We didn't get breakfast. The location was perfect.
Not fond of Victorville. Way too much wind. Don't know if its like that all the time. Yet it and the other communities along Bear Valley Rd. are thriving like any other 'strip town' (all businesses seem located along Bear Valley Rd.) in the US. Plenty of shops of all kinds, not just the many gas stations and fast food places, but most anything you care to find. A bonus was a business that had an indoor track for RC cars and long rows of stations where you could build your own RC car--which of course is what they sold. That place alone might make Victorville a hobbyists paradise.
My reason for staying was the 3 day high power rocket launch in the Lucern Dry lake bed. They do the 3 day thing 2 times a year but every month, weather permitting we have a Saturday launch there. So I may be coming out every month for that event. It will be fun exploring the town occasionally when the wind isn't too bad. Plenty of motels, just make sure you see the ratings first. You will want to pay a descent price (not too cheap) and stay away from the ones next to I-15 if you want a room that is reasonably quiet. Most hotels are along Bear Valley Rd. so some noise is to be expected. Careful searching may a yield a hotel farther away from noise. Just don't go too cheap or you may regret it. A nice hotel in Victorville rewards the cost.

The high desert landscape is nice with all the rocks, boulders, desert plants. Historic Route 66. Many new homes. Opportunity to own a large yard. 30 more minutes or so to Barstow. Many places to stop and eat.

Victorville is a cruddy meth hole where a bunch of drug addicts run around and the cops don’t bother them. I wouldn’t recommend going to the city unless you want to deal with a bunch of homeless drug addicts.

was roach's in bed no air in any room they give you broken box fan if they have one he staff was rude and we're drinking on the job there no phone number to get a hold of the place no fax and don't respond to the email this place is a joke and they need to be shut down
the first day i check in a THIEF WENT INSIDE MY ROOM my room from the back door. fortunately i hide my laptop because i had the feeling. the back door was open (lockers was removed from inside).. Many very bad people walk outside in the parking.
No one from managemet talk to me and apologize. All has been completely ignored as it is usually happen in this place. Dangerous place and rude staff in reception. i can say, the lady in the reception is the only one normal person in this hotel.
We were in town for a funeral and the hotel location was perfectly between family that were in both Apple Valley and Victorville. The Hilton Staff members were very friendly and helpful. It was a treat to stop at the free coffee bar to make a quick cup to go when leaving in the morning. After a sorrowful day, it was nice to walk next door over to the miniature golf/game place and have a little fun.
Clean room, friendly staff, breakfast perfect for a good start of the day. Jacuzzi in the room. All public areas in the hotel clean and well maintained. Sufficient parking spots at the hotel parking. Many restaurants and Starbucks in the vicinity of the hotel, big Walmart next to the hotel. Close to the Victorville Mall. Next to the Interstate 15.
Right off the bat you can see the property is more of apartments than a hotel. The smell in the room is horrific if I didn’t have asthma I do now. It’s so bad I wasn’t even in there for 20 min when I decided to leave early with a headache & my throat burning from the smell in the room. I do not recommended this place it isn’t safe.
The staff was rude and told me that they would not let me stay there but they still charged me and took my money and made me leave so I am trying to find out why the guy was even acting like this bc it was uncalled for and by far the worst experience ever at a hotel
They charged me extra after I requested to leave the room they gave within 30 mins of checking in and see the room. I left and went to another hotel because I felt like my room was already broken into. Forget this place 300 for a smoke detector. From. Where Dubai
I liked the location of the motel - central to my work in this county.
I enjoyed the calm, peaceful atmosphere in and around the hotel.
I appreciated the cleanliness of my room.
I loved the reliable WiFi connection!
The hotel is under construction everything about the hotel is bad you need to remove off your list until it’s completed. If it wasn’t so late I would have gotten another hotel.
This place is super dirty I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to stay at this hotel drug deals going on the parking lot kids running around without parental guidance
