Surprising decor and features that were above average.
Surprising decor and features that were above average. Train across the street was the only downside, but rooms across the hall apparently don't hear the trains as much. Great bed and bedding. Great bathroom design and shower. We were very pleased with our stay.

Santa Clarita is nice.
Santa Clarita is nice. I was here for an event that happened to be in Santa Clarita. Lots of food options, canyon hikes, and city parks. Hollywood Blvd is about 40 minutes away and Disneyland is 1 hour twenty minutes.

We stayed in the Newhall area of Santa Clarita visiting family, but we have always enjoyed it. It's very well spaced out and nothing is to far. I am looking forward to exploring it more in the coming years.

The staff was very nice.
The staff was very nice. The decor is very outdated and needs a facelift. The sheer curtains had holes in them and the roomed smelled like sweaty feet. Had an out of control guest next door that kept us up all night. Staff tried to calm him but he ended up in the parking lot cussing and yelling til the wee hours of the morning. Very scary.
The pool had trash in it (toilet paper, snickers wrapper, dirt and bugs) we cleaned it out. A nice swim after that.
The breakfast was a joke. What little food or coffee offered was gone before 8 am. The juice machine was “out of order”. It would be nice to have fruit, eggs (even hard boiled) and sausage for the breakfast. We had to ask for coffee, milk, sugar and even a slice of bread for toast. Ended up having to go out and get breakfast. Would not recommend this place at all.

We stay in Santa Clarita on the way to visit friends.
We stay in Santa Clarita on the way to visit friends. Every time we stay we eat at Piccolo Trattoria - great Italian food. Not inexpensive but you get what you pay for - both the quality of the food and the service.

Good:
Good:
The hotels in this environment are expensive so we took 1 room instead of 2, for a family of 5 people. The staff were amazing and entered an extra bed for the kid to a double queen-bed room. There is a warm pool and a cold pool outside. The room is well facilitated and clean, shower is fine, there is a little kitchen aid in the room so it's very nice.
Bad:
Very bad wifi which disconnect you constantly, poor breakfast so better order the room without it. There are many options to eat outside or buy in the supermarket so don't worry about the breakfast. Rooms are great even without the breakfast.
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Lexen Newhall for one night in February 2024. We loved everything about it! Parking is easy to find and seems secure. The desk and bar staff were all friendly and accommodating. Everyone associated with the hotel had a smile and a kind word. The hotel is within very easy walking distance to Newhall establishments and to a yummy Mexican restaurant, La Charrita. The rooms were spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. I can't say enough nice things. I will definitely recommend to friends and will stay again.
OMG what can I say... We had just come from Vegas where we paid way more for a hotel on the Strip (LinQ if you want to know) it was trashy, stinky, literally zero human interaction and no breakfast.... Just walking into the Fairfield (and at the Residence Inn where we also had a room) we could tell this was going to be great. A very helpful and smiling person at the desk... the room was amazing from architecture to furniture to all the little details. The breakfast was off the charts amazing.
The breakfast was the only disappointment in my stay. Very few options. Staying at hotels/motels often, I know that a balanced, hot choice, healthy breakfast is entirely possible. Even during Covid!
The staff is amazing!! In particular Sam and Samantha!! Absolute gems. Both go FAR and ABOVE the norm. They go out of their way to help in whatever way possible. Between these two people, and the unsurpassed cleanliness of the room, I would never stay anywhere else when visiting that area.
The Hotel and Property is designed very well, Great Parking, open Lobby and access to the room was very easy. The room was extremally Clean, well furnished and spacious, bathroom was large and had all the amenities required. Coffee and Juice was always available. Wood definitely stay again and highly recommend when in the Newhall area.
We always stay here if we going to Sixflags or LA. It’s cleaner and safer than many other options simple to get into fwy and affordable. It’s close to lots of shopping food and stores. Has laundromat on site. Parking is off street and included. Santa Clarita is a really nice area.
Breakfast was decent and the bed and room were comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Check in and out was super easy and fast. Hotel location was easy to access and easy to find. Everything was clean for except the unmade bed.
We were on a roadtrip and randomly chose Santa Clarita as we needed to be in LA next morning.
Great hotel. Had a bit of a laugh at restaurant next door which was Aussie Outback... loved the gum trees planted around the area.
Really comfortable, clean and cosy motel. We even got coffee and some breakfast bakery for free in the morning. The best motel we have ever been to. I defently recommend to stay at this excellent motel.
we stayed for going to six flag. hotel is really close to six flag and there was a trolley to go and back. hotel was clean and big room. good for big family to stay with 2 queen beds & sofa bed.
Hotel was new and clean. Good american breakfast with warm options too. Friendly staff. Big rooms with full kitchen. Good amenities with a pool and a fitness center.
