The server at breakfast was A M A Z I N G…so helpful, kind and energetic. She put a smile on our faces each morning.
We also had great service by the bartender in the evenings.

Had an over abundance amount of restaurants and there is a mall less than 2 mi away... Also University of Delaware football stadium just minutes away... Best part was a Dunkin' Donuts just as you leave the hotel parking lot... It's actually walkable on a nice day from the hotel... But also in the rain if you like Dunkin' Donuts as much as we do...

I was a Delawarean for most of my life and was very familiar with the area. The Ramada was once looked upon as the class of Newark. Newark has changed considerably since I left in 2011. It still contains all the shops anyone could need and the surrounding nearby area has a really nice mall (Christiana). The hospital is always near anywhere you travel to.

Unhappy with fact that the two queens reserved and paid for in advance was given away and tried to put daughter on a balcony. Finally gave us a king with a pull out. Room smelled, no additional rolls of toilet papar and the linens for pull out were dirtly.

Unfortunate experience.
Unfortunate experience. I was really willing to give this lesser known hotel brand a try. Nevertheless, I left to never return again to another Sonesta Suites and ended up staying with a well known brand hotel for a higher price and piece of mind.

Worst ever!
Worst ever! Property falling down, drug addicts nodding off outside their rooms, women fighting and swearing outside my room, homeless people squatting there, you name it. IF I wasn't exhausted from driving I would have asked for a refund and gone anywhere else. Asked receptionist if rooms smelled better than the stale lobby, and he said "I dont know--Im not housekeeping."

It is close to bus transportation and not far from Christiana Mall. It is a nice city and you can get to the downtown by bus pretty easily.
I called in some food from the menu in the hotel room. I liked it where I was. It was a very nice room with two beds and a desk and a working telephone which was most important to me.
The hotel is located close to downtown and the Univ of Delaware, perfect for exploring. The room was spacious and clean. We stayed 3 nights visiting family over TG week. The bathroom layout was good. Great breakfast selection. We would definitely stay here again.
I received a complimentary upgrade which was great since I was alone and traveling for work. The price was very good based on the room I stayed in. I also liked that the room was cleaned and towels were replaced daily and not every few days as at other hotels.
Our room, and the whole hotel, was very clean. The pool area was a nice size and had plenty of towels. We stayed in a 2 queen bed room and there was plenty of room. The little kitchen area was very convenient.
Clean, comfortable room. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was great for american standard hotel breakfasts. Lobby is beautiful and large. Hallways clean and broad. Bathroom very clean and good condition
The price was reasonable, would like to see more upgrades. Clearly the hotel has been around for a while and needs repairs but all said we got what we expected.
