We are from Connecticut and often visit our son who lives in Saratoga. We have stayed in several hotels in various locations in the Bay Area and found Mountain View to be most centrally located to everything we want to do during our visit.
The city looks fun and vibrant. There are tons of restaurants with every food type we like to eat (we love good food.) We highly recommend Mountain View for travelers visiting the Bay Area.

It is mostly a place for people to stay if their child is at Stamford or they have business in the tech field around there, or saw a show at the Shoreline and didn't want to drive home. No one goes there for fun, it is mainly a bedroom community and very pretty.

The stay was awesome.
The stay was awesome. The only problem we had was the TV, for those who are not techies it is a little complicated. Found a great Italian Restaurant just down the street. Cucina Venti. We were able to walk to the Shoreline Ampitheatre to see a concert.

Mountain View is a beautiful part of the Bay area.
Mountain View is a beautiful part of the Bay area. The downtown section on Castro Street had a nice pedestrian mall and a dizzying array of restaurants to choose from. We could have stayed two weeks and not patronized all of them. Convenient to Moffett Field and the Shoreline Amphitheater.

Beautiful leafy town with walkable Downtown and great selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. Two train lines and plenty of buses make it easy to get around without a car. Computer History Museum and Googleplex are great places to visit especially for geeks!
The rooms seemed to have been remodeled recently. They looked modern, clean and in new like condition.
The room had reasonable space.
Everything worked and the room had even a coffee machine with coffee pods to choose from.
The WiFi was good for the office work I did on it.
The room was quite and there was no noise from any neighbors.
The location is very convenient and close to downtown Mountain View and office campuses around.
The staff was nice, but I didn't need to interact much.
stayed at the penthouse which consisted of 2 rooms (one actual room and an upstairs loft) with 2 bathrooms, sofa bed and a kitchen. There was 3 of us with 2 dogs, and the space was roomy. Room was clean, they had all dishes sanitized in the dishwasher. Location of the hotel was perfect. Near so many eateries and markets, you literally won’t get hungry. I will stay here again
I absolutely love your staff! From front desk to bartender Michael to breakfast server to Antonio helping me after I left my pillow. Very easy going and smiles all around. The room was modern and comfortable. Like I was the first person using it. Amazing hotel. Can’t wait to come back.
Loved the fresh fruit at the downstairs little market. Loved the look of the place. Loved the pool. Loved the room decor. Loved the kettle. Absolutely loved all the hooks/places to hang things in the room! Loved the sparkling water downstairs. Loved the text from the hotel.
Location is good. One mile from old downtown Mountain View. Can walk to nearby fast food & drugstore. Fast and easy to get on and off highway. My room at the back of the hotel was quiet, air conditioning worked, wifi worked, bed was comfortable, bed and bathroom were clean.
We attended an event at the Shoreline Amphitheater so wanted to stay at a nearby hotel. Had a good stay . The hotel clerk was very nice and was able to check in early, which was awesome. Room was decent, pretty clean. price was reasonable. parking was a little tight .
My second stay here, might become my go-to hotel in the area. Spacious and clean modern rooms, comfortable bed. Central location in Mountain View, walk to coffee shops. Both stays were quiet at night, allowing a nice rest.
The staff were excellent and went out of there way to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The shuttle bus took us to where ever we wanted in the surrounding area.
