The location is perfect for visiting so many great sights in the area such as the Great Smoky Mountains, Cherokee, Maggie Valley and Grandfather Mountain. Pop’s Diner and Pop’s Butts on The Creek were great places to eat!

    Been here many times.

Been here many times. I enjoy each stay and wish I could stay longer. Many stores are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays (why I have no idea). THE place to go for breakfast is Country Vittles. Excellent to go. Have never been there for lunch because I was so full from breakfast. Cherokee Nation is only about a half hour away, Franklin Ruby City Museum about an hour, Thermal City Gold Mine about an hour away

We stayed off season so it was quiet.

We stayed off season so it was quiet. Some places were not open. We went out of town to eat. But it was a small cute town that I would recommend to stay if you want to stay away from all the other stuff around the Great Smoky mountain it was a farther drive but if you have the time to do it I would recommend staying in Maggie valley. I enjoyed our putt-putt golf.

The place is charming. Our second floor room had a screened in balcony that overlooked the creek. The sound was so calming. We sat out there and enjoyed our breakfast. There is also a shared public space with seating that we did not utilize. The exterior of the inn was decorated with fall themes - haystacks, scarecrows, pumpkins and beautiful mums. It just felt very friendly and welcoming. If we ever visit the Maggie Valley area again, we will be sure to stay here! Highly recommend it!

We were in town for a family ski weekend. The Comfort Inn was in a great central location. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was the included breakfast. Breakfast was very good, with a good hot selection of foods. Room was large and comfortable. Location was convenient to skiing and everything else in Maggie Valley and Waynesville. We'll definitely stay here for our next ski trip!

If you enjoy mom and pop style hotels, you would enjoy Travelowes. The rooms have been remodeled again and the appliances worked well. Bathrooms are well-designed with a built in night light feature. Shower had good pressure and hot water.
