Not what I expected based off the photos of the hotel online. Quit run down, holes in the walls, back door into hotel remained open all night long. Scratchy place and area. Bathtub felt like it was about to fall in.

I stayed there for 4 or 5 days which was 3 or 4 days too long. It's okay for an inexpensive overnighter while you're on the road and passing through, but that's all. I suggest you not stay here if you are here to see the area

I shouldn't have to go buy a fan to try and have some air to sleep just because I've been to 2 rooms already and the air doesn't work in either room. My money was NOT well spent for this vacation.

    Response to owner's reply:

Response to owner's reply: As for your reply, apologies are not enough in these circumstances, reimbursement's would be a good gesture !!!, it's nice of you to degrade your guests comments when you most likely were not present and are going by the wrong info your employees are giving to make them look good. Besides that the heat index has nothing to do with the fact the a/c is not working, blowing cold air or not functioning properly. None of the rooms we saw were cleaned properly, stains on linens & walls, food debris, dirt in bathrooms, etc. and the "upgraded room" was only provided after I complained several times about conditions, we walked several other rooms with Stephanie to only find them uncleaned, a/c's not working, room & area wreaking of smoke from the tenants, she agreed to get a room ready for us to move to, of course it was the last night of a 4 night stay and interrupted all of our Saturday plans. Stephanie was the only staff member to try and correct the issues, not explain it away with excuses. As for my pool statements, they are totally, correct. "Right before the holiday weekend" is a LIE. Check the reviews back to mid June, customers reviews state the pool was in very poor conditions with green water, I personally saw debris in water from not being cleaned properly, we stayed Wednesday thru Sunday, color did lighten but was never clean, as for kids swimming in pool, kids will swim in pretty much anything not realizing the possible dangers they could be in. The management needs better training as well as staff or replacement, no excuse for the conditions or lies being told just to get business, I will not return or recommend this establishment, even more Dissatisfied.

The location was convenient to the wedding we were going to in Bay St Louis and it looked like they were making lots of upgrades to the property, we noticed them cleaning regularly. I would recommend this spot as a great budget accommodation. Close to a gas station as well so easy to fuel up grab water and get on the road.

The hotel has had a major renovation and upgrade since my last stay, and is now in very exceptional condition with all facilities of the highest standards. The staff were very helpful and responded to all my requests quickly and positively. I was very appreciative of all they did to make my stay that much better. .

The hotel honored my request for a room on the first floor. It was nice that the hotel was just off the highway, but traffic could be heard. Check-in was fast, the room was a decent size, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

The manager there was great. He is completely overworked as they are currently understaffed. He was very friendly and eager to help. Since we were visiting Diamondhead, the location worked great for us.

This is a very inexpensive hotel. It is not clean, there are bugs. But for the price, what would you expect? The staff are exceptionally helpful and kind. Moving to a different room went smoothly.

The hotel is very dated, but the classic 70s decor was kinda cool- and damaged, not working in every place you looked.
