Checking in the wee hours of the morning, the welcome desk was ready for us, and it didn't take long to get our keys. The police officer noticed that I had parked in the back of the hotel and watched the area as my family and I came in. We were much appreciated 👏 of him. We awoke late and went down to breakfast. The area was constantly cleaned, and though we came in about 9 am, they still had plenty of breakfast. The room did not smell musty or stinky. While we we were gone for breakfast, the cleaning maid came into our room and gave us fresh towels, took out the trash, and made our beds even though we did not ask. Nice of her.

Your questions are hard to answer. My experience with Holiday Inn Express was fine, however my reservation through bookings.com was a disaster. When we arrived, there were no reservations. I had to make my own reservation and happily they had a room at a higher price, for us to stay the night. We did have an exceptionally good shuttle driver that saved our day. This was the reason I chose Holiday Inn Express and I was pleased with that.
