The people from the area are very friendly and helpful to tourist and for a short stay over to visit Pamukkale. I would highly recommend Meshur Denizli Kebapçisi, a family restaurant, the service was great and food, the best we've had.

I'm sure every town and city has its enduring qualities but for my one night stay including driving it I didn't see any for Denizli. My advice: if you intend on visiting any of the ruins or hotsprings then you would be better served at finding a quiet hotel closer to these attractions than Denizli. Probably the worst road planning I've seen as a well travelled individual that is from Africa (so I've seen a few things). You're bound to miss exits here and always need to drive many km to get back. Don't trust your GPS in this place, it is probably as confused as you will be.

The hotel is already in the city centre. We used the bus terminal in front of it to go to Pamukkale.
