Gaining entry to the Pousada was unexpected and should have been brought to customers' attention at the time of booking. You need a pin code to gain entry and that code has a different procedure after 10pm.I would stay there again as its idea for a trip in that area that's less than 48 hours

Basic hotel , expensive for what it is -
Location bit out of town, cabs easy enough to get and a shuttle from the hotel
Spa is charged at extra €40 euros a person for an hour, so hotel guests can’t even use the jacuzzi or sauna just a the swimming pool.

The hotel is nice, clean and in a nice neighbourhood, a bit far from the old part of town but very well connected via metro. The area is also walkable with nice shops and cafes around.
The room is spacious and clean with comfortable beds. Fresh fruit and pastel de nata for breakfast were fabulous.

Main reason for staying in Queluz was proximity to family that lives in Amadora, which is the only reason Queluz was "just right". Rather unassuming town but did have nice parks. It is definitely not a vacation destination.

We liked the neighbourhood as it wasn’t too tourist like, it was more authentic. People in the neighbourhood are very welcoming and you’ll feel at ease as the area is peaceful (sometimes). It’s not too far from Rossio, a great place to visit! And there are many stores nearby where you can grab a quick drink with your friends or a kebab. Loved it and would recommend to everyone! :)
I liked the history of the hotel, the view of the building because it resembles the Cathedral in my home country- Ukraine 🇺🇦
I did like that the administration offer our room earlier because it was already cleaned. If not that, we were ought to wait 2 hours more after the flight and jet lag.
Liked the compliment water and chocolate. The every day cleaning!!!! estupendo 😌
the towel sizes for a shower 🚿
Liked the room size and the bed.
BREAKFAST are fabulous and fantastic. Only roasted vegetable mix was toooo salty.
The hotel is small in size, a boutique hotel really, but in grand surroundings. The room and bathroom were large with large windows and a comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was delicious and well maintained by the lady in charge who constantly kept the table freshly stocked and orderly. The front desk was friendly and accessible. The Palace and it’s amazing gardens are not to be missed. The building that houses the Pousada was built as part of the Palace.
The hotel is in a stunning 18th-century building and the service is extremely caring, which is a trademark of the Pousadas. The whole offers a very peaceful, luxurious and sophisticated ambiance. Our room was very spacious and elegantly decorated, and the bed extremely comfortable. The proximity to the Palácio Nacional de Queluz, which is right across the street, is a major advantage.
Lovely hotel that takes you back to the times of Queen Maria I of Portugal, especially with her palace being just across the street. The hotel is small and quiet, in a beautiful old freestanding building. Rooms are spacious. And the people working there could not be any nicer, literally everyone had that typically Portuguese sense of hospitality.
Lot of variety at breakfast. A lot of parking in front of the hotel. The rooms were historic, but could use a bit of a refresh. Train station is only 15 minutes by foot (uphill) giving you access to Lisbon and Sintra by train in 20 minutes.
The former palace is now a small, yet great hotel. The room was large, comfortable, the stuff was very helpful. Breakfast was very good ,large variety and very elegantly served. We had a car, so the distance from Lisbon wasn't an obtacle
Excellent location not just for Queluz, but also to reach Sintra and Belém. The apartment had all one could look for, comfortable and clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, will come back on a next visit.
very beautiful, carefully curated, property in the best location in Queluz, very close to Lisbon
the garden is fantastic, and children loved the small pool

Location, property very clean well maintained, staff very professional , Palácio Nacional de QUELUZ (Palace) infront of the hotel it’s a must visit place
