1) All the staff were most helpfull, however the language barrier caused a minor hic-cup with the room service when ordering from the menu in my room. Staff took it upon themselves to ad-lib with food subsitutions from the set breakfast menu, without informing the customers. It was eventually sorted out. 2) The water pressure in the shower was very low, could do with improvement. 3) The swimming pool was not available for use untill May 2024. Other than those 3 issues the hotel represents value for money. I would stay again, but make sure the swimming pool was available for use.Bock - 4.0Scored 4.0
Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center.
Seeb is far away (over 20 km) from city center. Nothing to see there. So not many tourists there. But it is developing. Quiet long beach but no infrastructure. You need car to get to the center! We only had an evening in Seeb.
We only had an evening in Seeb. It was a vibrant and busy place after the quiet of the mountains. We had a superb fish supper on the coast road - we had a choice of several fish. Seeb is close enough to the airport to make it an easy trip.

Al seeb has a new Mall, The Mall of Muscat, with the Oman Aquarium inside. Also has a Souq with many shops for furniture, garments and gold jewerly. I´t is a nice location if you don´t want the rush of Muscat. You can even have a relaxing beach walk or go to any of the cafes around the Wave MarinaHector DanielColombia

Take seaside although it is a little bit more expensive. You have morning sun and no traffic from the street!!!! Pool is on top floor with great view on the sea. We used it as a 2 night stay before and after Dimanyiat island trip then headed off to the desert. It is ideally placed for Al Mouq marina for the trips, this is also a good place to find good at night and reasonably priced. There is a Chinese restaurant at the hotel with good food.
