I would score them 11 if I could.
Why?
I travel a lot and have done so for many years.
This is the first place that puts covers over your cars to protect from heavy frosts. I arrived back after 11.00 pm. seeing all the other cars covered, thinking I missed out. Yet, when I got up before 7.00am, there was my car covered.
So thank you very much. You went way beyond expectations.

Great location next to Highlands. the apartment was so roomy, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. The stairs were very shallow and easy to use. The lovely sunney courtyard was a great place for us to catch up with friends in the late afternoon.

Very secluded getaway location pretty much designed specifically for wine makers because there wineries for Africa there, but the town lacks in offering much else as a reason to go there unless you’re into tramping (the surrounding areas are tailor made for it) - very little tourist attractions offered in the township compared to nearby Wanaka which punches well above its weight.Daniel - 10Scored 10

Great for wine tasting, especially also at Bannockburn, Lowburn and Northburn. Particularly recommended a booking at Felton Road. Waterpark adds a new dimension. Walking and cycling. It can be windy and also grey in winter.

It had been 12 years since we last visited Cromwell. Not surprisingly it had grown and changed significantly - and for the better. The town has a pleasant ambience about it and the people appear very relaxed. Everything one wants is there and there is a comprehensive range of retail and hospitality. It is a friendly, well-kept town with fabulous scenery. Very close to Arrowtown and Queenstown without the traffic hassles (especially of Qtown). It has a reasonable number of shops, enough restaurants and pubs. we didn't have kids but there seemed to be plenty of places for them to run around and play. it felt safe and inviting.Louise - 10Scored 10

Great accommodation that was not expensive but very homely and a central location to see and visit the rest of Central Otago. Dined at the Town and Country Club , Carrick Winery, barbequed at our unit.

Our bathroom was equipped with a large tub next to a picture window with a great view, plants, double sinks, instant-on great shower. The breakfast was presented so that we could set our own schedule, and snacks of fruit, chocolate, cold drinks & Nescafe coffee were available all the time for us out in the hall. The common areas are big, Kitchen is full equipped , showers and toilets where clean. We stayed on the 6 girl bunk bed and the room is big. Luckily me and my friend were the only ones for the night. The night was really cold but the place is warm and they have extra blankets for those that need. Overall it was a good place to stay the night. My fav part is George the dog! such a lovely Labrador ready to cuddle.
