The place to go for walking in Gelderland. Don't miss the 'Lochemse Beuk', a enormous, beautifully symetric beech tree 250-300 years old. The town centre is small and charming, and there are a few nice places to eat.

Was worried about the church bells but they sound great and quiet when in the room. Hotel is less than 100yards from a old square with places to eat and have a drink, we stayed here on the way back from a trip to Denmark, perfect in every way Really nice owner

So whilst inconvenient for waking up time it’s great to have this luxury once you’re up and ready to eat. Would still stay again though knowing the below issues.

The area of Lochem is very nice and several towns can be easily reached. Very recommended! The hosts are very friendly and helpful as well!
