We enjoyed the private and public onsens, common areas of the ryokan were nicely decorated and comfortable, japanese breakfast was really good. Staff was lovely and asked if we needed anything for our room during breakfast in the morning.

Great accommodation with relaxing vibes, we had
a beautiful forest view from the room where you can just sit and relax. There are 4 private onsens you can use, they are beautiful and you can use them together with your partner (men and women together unlike in public onsens). Staff is very friendly and they speak English.

A beautiful, stylish, superbly appointed place to stay. Everything had been thought through. They are genuinely committed to sustainability in everything they do, and showcasing the area and its produce. The team there are so kind and thoughtful - they made an already wonderful stay so much better.

Serene, authentic, and classy, this place has it all. It is criminally good value for the money. The keiseki dinner and breakfast were out of this world, probably the best meals I’ve ever had in my two trips to Japan (I’m fussy). A particular shout out to a staff member called Bhesh, a lovely Nepalese man who was extremely kind and helpful, I hope the hotel is rewarding him well for his excellent work.
Breathing a traditional Japanese atmosphere, Onyado Hisui features natural hot spring baths, traditional dining and Japanese-style rooms. It houses a souvenir shop and drink vending machines on site.
