It means you can reach Venice by train in about 1h45, same if not less with Verona, Padova, etc. Trento and Bologna are a couple of hours away by car. If you go trekking you'll probably need a car, but this is a great location too. The breakfast is really good, with a nice selection of local products. Pricewise it makes sense if you plan to do a big breakfast and plan just a small lunch, else probably a bakery or bar in the neighbourhood is way cheaper.
