Breakfast, dinner everything was wonderful. The tranquillity of the resort was a gift and a pleasure and the staff were completely *amazing*. It’s been a long time since I have met with such kindness, courtesy and heartfelt, polite offers of any assistance required. I cannot say thank you to everyone at Resort Borgo San Rocco enough.

This was one of the best accomodation travelling in Sicily. Very clean, spaceous room. Leo, the host, is great. And very helpul. If you are travelling by motorbike and car, this is the place to stay. Very safe and accessible parking. Location is good, you can visit nearby places around ( by car, motorbike or bus/train). Close to restaurants on the shore ( 500- 700m). Breakfast was good, in a cozy space to eat. We travelled by motorbike. Would definately come back.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Lemon House, be prepared to experience a fabulous Bed & Breakfast!
The English home is just exceptional, pristine and full of love. The owner Christel and her lovely teen daughter Emma are truly warm and caring, they make you feel like family right from the start.
The rooms are beautifully decorated, the plush bed came with luxurious linens and ours had French doors overlooking the handsome, rectangular turquoise pool.
The breakfast was not only beautifully displayed but very tasty, high quality and vast. Emma prepared the best delicious gourmet eggs and great cappuccinos! ; )
Christel is fantastic. A classy lady that speaks almost every language and pays great attention to detail was super helpful with planning our stay in Savoca. She provided us an excellent list of restaurants and beach clubs in the near and kindly helped book all reservations for us. Every placed we visited was top notch!
Lemon House is about only a 20-min car ride to Taormina, perfect for a day at the beach club or exploring the city and returning home to lovely dinners at the beautiful Sicilian villages.
Parking is always available, secure and free of charge on the street just outside the House.
Our stay at Lemon House was a very special time and one we will never forget.
Thank you Christel and Emma!

Savoca It's a lovely apartment where you can sit on the terrace and have the best view with coffee. The valley and cathedral in front of you are even more fantastic at night. It was very helpful to have a kitchen and washing machine, and it is safe and convenient to park because you gave me a resident parking card. It's a place I want to listen to again with the consideration of the kind owner.

The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful and the little balcony over the town was lovely. The town becomes very peaceful in the evening and early morning which was just magical. Breakfast was amazing, our choice of anything from the bar. The staff were very attentive and it was a wonderful place to stay.

Great location, convenient check in and check out. Fully equipped kitchen ( not like we use it) but if you want to you have everything you need. I expected to be more dark inside as is just one window above the entry door, but actually was much better.

The staff are very welcoming and the location is excellent.we ate at the restaurant and the food was delicious
For sure it had to be classified as one of the most...
For sure it had to be classified as one of the most beautiful "Borgi" of Italian historic villages (Sicily).
The old , quiet village looks like a Nativity crib, especially at night with its dim lightning and charming Savocans!
The story behind Francis Copolla's "The Godfather" makes it more intresting.
I was very disappointed with the over-priced and money-miser approach of Bar Vitelli...... if you do not sit down and but an expensive Granita .... circa 8 Euro oer person than to just have a photo you are charged 5 euro.
But ignoring Bar Vitelli ill-effect approach, Savoca offers wonderful walks, charming atmosphere and scenery, great vinotecas (Wine bars) and places to eat. It is a place to supreme relaxation away from bustling city noise, eventhough on Wednesday a lots of tourists invade the village.

I picked this area because it has the iconic Godfather locations such as Bar Vitelli and the church from where Michael gets married in part one, being a huge Godfather fan this place was just perfect, very authentic to Sicily and an absolutely stunning view all over, I would definitely go back to Sicily and 100% stay in Savoca

The art throughout Savoca is amazing!
The art throughout Savoca is amazing! The clay stations of the cross (Via Crucis) throughout the village culminates with a walk up short but steep stairs to three crosses at the Hermitage of Monte Calvario reflecting the Risen Lord. And if it's a clear day, you are treated to a beautiful and appropriate view of Mt Etna! This hilltop, medieval village is exceptionally clean and clearly faith filled. IT IS NOT ABOUT THE GODFATHER...although it does host the bar and church which were in the scenes of the movies. While the village has benefited financially from the filming, thankfully it has retained its own identity. It is overrun with tourists who are often only interested in seeing the location of the Godfather scenes and are usually insensitive and oblivious to others around them. The villagers must have the patience of Job!

This is a small hilltop town where part of the Sicilian scenes from the Godfather movie were filmed. Extremely scenic. In October, it was not crowded. When we were here 5 years ago in the summer, it was much more crowded with several tour buses.

A stunning hill top village.
A stunning hill top village. Once in the village visit bar vitelli and sit were Al pachino sat when filming The Godfather part 2. Then miander around the streets ( quite steep in places ) or take a tut tut ride only 3 - 5 euros depending on length of journey. Their is a family run cafe/ bar opposite bar vitelli were you can buy snacks, ice cream etc. There are a few resteraunts dotted about and a couple of wine bars with spectacular views of Saint Teresa, a seaside resort at the bottom of the hill. Also a must visit is Nino a bread maker who sells freshly made breads with ham and cheese or olives baked inside or delicious slices of pizzas. There are stunning ancient churches and a museum to marvel at. All in all a must place to visit.
if you are a Godfather fan, both the room we had with the private terrace and the shared terrace have the perfect view of the hilltop church and procession route for Michael Corleone. When you walk out the front door of the B and B, look to the right and there is the famous Bar Vitelli. But, especially before and after the tour buses are there, Savoca is so much more. Super friendly people, peace and quiet. Daniele the owner was the BEST. His neighbors and friends are wonderful. Join them for an evening drink in this memorable place.
Nicely appointed, clean rooms with large bathroom. Nino was very accommodating and friendly. Property has gated/key access for extra security. The home and rooms were very clean and modern. Breakfast was traditional Sicilian style with fresh fruits, breads, coffee and tea. We stayed in late October and were treated to freshly picked persimmon fruits (cachi) and homemade lemon/orange jam (made by Nino's sister). Close drives to Taormina/Isola Bella and the "Godfather" sites in Savoca.
Stunning property in a the quaint town of Savoca that was 5 minutes walking from the house. The views of the sea, Mt Etna and Savoca are incredible. Carmelo (owner) is so kind and accommodating, he simply couldn’t do enough for us. The house itself is brand new and absolutely pristine. The beds were comfortable and having a bathroom for nearly every room was great. Savoca sits in a perfect location to get to Taormina and easy to get to Messina and Catania as well.
I had a very good stay at this Airbnb in beautiful Savoca. The host was really nice and left us coffee, some fruit and beverages in the fridge. The house itself was one of the best I’ve experienced for the price; it’s big, has everything you might need and has a beautiful view of the hills.
It's important to note that Savoca can be a challenging place to navigate by car as roads are narrow. Overall, a very good experience.
Lovely modern interior with everything you need . Access to a shared kitchen was good and it had all needed for a proper stay . If you like a modern style this would be for you and our host was always there to help if needed and took care of you with some lovely touches . It was a lovely stay to explore Savoca . We had the room with a balcony not attached so would ask for the rooms with the balcony with the room .
The villa has a fantastic atmosphere, with beautiful views to the valley. The pool is a perfect for relaxing after a sightseeing day. The villa is very stylish, furnished with quality furniture, even with paintings, very comfortable for 4 people. Savoca itself is a unique village with a lot of churches, narrow streets, old houses. the villa is very calm, still in the very centre of Savoca.
Welcomed by name on arrival, by young receptionist and offered a welcome drink, even before we parked ( after the exciting drive up!)
Breathtaking view from our balcony; breakfast was fresh and homemade; staff were very hospitable. Away from the crowds. Do follow the hotel’s advice concerning the size of your car!! We absolutely loved our stay and fully recommend it.
We found the hotel to be very new and clean, but the best part about it is the fact that Christel is very helpful in organizing dinners, trips to Etna/beach etc. She'll call for you the restaurants and the other facilities. The breakfast was also great. We felt very good at Lemon House and fell in love with the village nearby - Savoca.
Everything!
Location is excellent, in the centre of the town. Walk to everything.
The property is so comfortable, we could easily stay longer. So peaceful, a perfect getaway!
The owner was so friendly and arranged a transfer for us to travel to Messina the next day.
The owner was very friendly and always smile.. My flight was delayed and he wait me until 11:30 at night. The breakfast was very good with some homemade food. Nice chat with him even I don't speak Italian and he speak little English. He also show us his small garden.
We were welcomed by the sweetest young lady. We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We thought we would try Google maps and that was a HUGE mistake. It took us to a very dangerous road. Be sure and follow the hotel’s road instructions and turn GPS off.
The host Christel welcomed us so warmly, and was helpful and gracious throughout our stay. A highlight was the bountiful and tasty breakfast. For “Godfather” fans, the location is a perfect base to explore the enchanting hilltop town of Savoca.
this property is amazing, the rooms are lovely. view from the balcony is exceptional. I will most definitely be returning to this hotel. staff were excellent, very welcoming and extremely helpful. this was a last minute booking.
Location excellent next to Godfather sites. Great views from balcony of the sea and Church from the godfather. Pristine clean. Great amenities and service. Very comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended@
the location of the property in the mountainous village of Savoca is exceptional. The view extends on the sea as well as the mountain. The staff and Vittorio, the owner, are very friendly and kind.
Comfortable terrace with beautiful view, friendly hosts, good location near Taormina, old town in Savoca and Isola Bella. It was very clean and good communication with hosts.
Amazing place in the Savoca mountains with direct view on the Castle, Churche and with amazing seaview. Great beds, washing machine and breakfast in the fridge as bonus.
The owners are very kind, they welcomed us warmly. If we return to the area, we will definitely return to this b&b.
