The location was amazing. Accesible only by car. But the view is breathetaking: over the hills, very authentic agroturismo.
The interior is rustic, the big terrace is facing the hills and the sunset.
The apartment is very spacious and can accomodate large families ( there are more bedrooms open depending on the number of the guests).
The host was also amazing, they were preparing dinner for us in both nights we stayed: delicious local dishes and wine! The atmosphere was completed by italian music.
Breakfast was included in the room rate and was served on the terrace.
This is a family owned business and they are doing it very well. Congratulation!
Just 300 metres from Erice Castle, Antico Borgo Erice is set on the main street of this historical town. This characteristic stone building offers rooms and an apartment, each with a balcony.

Incredible view. Free parking in front of the appartment. The lovely host Angela welcomed us with homemade cookies and coffee cream. Quite. 5-10 min walk to the center of Erice.
Very old town with many things to see.
Many restaurants for all kinds of food.
Since Erice is high up in the mountains, there are few level areas. Great for keeping in shape! You cannot get lost. It's a small town. Evenings get cooler, so bring a jacket if you plan to eat on a terrace.

The community has a nice offer for 12 Euro to enter all churches and monuments in the village. It can easily keep you busy and running around for a day in the village. A bus from/to the village from Trapani is 2,90 Euro and takes about 45 min. The Funivia (cable car is 6,50 Euro and takes about 20 min + the local AST 21 or 23 bus to take you there for 1,40 Euro). I saved one cable car ride for the last evening just as an experience enjoying the sunset views and using it as a way to reach the village late. The last bus from Trapani is 17.30 the last cable car around 20.00.

Apartment is located in the center of the old town, which is very nice. What we didn't like is a horrible and continuous noise coming from the water pomp, that we heard in our room. It was impossible to relax with this sound. Moreover we booked an apartment with a kitchen, which we didn't have. The host told us it was put in the add by mistake.

It's a fascinating medieval town where we spent many hours, we also had a lovely lunch at the convent restaurant.
We also went on the cable car with its fantastic view of Trapani below. There was actually nothing to do at the bottom so be went back up to Erice!

Erice is a mountain found in the limits of Trapani.
Erice is a mountain found in the limits of Trapani. You can access it by car or cable car, I would suggest using the cable car as it is more comfortable. The road leading to the top of the mountain is quite long and full of sharp bends. The village on top of Mount Erice is picturesque, every alley has its own character, some of them with sea views and other with country views. There is a public garden that it’s a must to visit with the view of Castello del Balio, Torretta Pepoli and Castello di Venere. The place is wonderful.
This was one of my best experiences in Italy so far. The room was in the most central part of beautiful Erice, so close to the town square that one could see events happening there from the balcony. The room itself was perfect, and had access to a great bathroom as well. The hosts kept in good communication and provided me the information where to park, which is not trivial in Erice.
As final bonus, the market next door is brilliant for a quick bite or drink after arrival, with the friendliest staff!
Very comfortable and clean apartment in an ideal location to.experience the history and beauty of Erice. Iole, the owner, is exceptionally friendly and hospitable, which made our time there very special. She helped us park our car and transport our bags into the historic center, took us on a driving tour sharing historical information about Erice, and stocked the apartment with a supply of local delicacies and foods. We travel as much as 6 months each year and have never been treated so well!
Absolutely fantastic experience! The hosts are truly passionate about Erice and its history, gave us a brief overview of the sights and recommended places to visit and restaurants to check out.
The apartment is totally renovated and a lot of weight has been put to preserve the authentic interior style.
This was our best and most authentic experience while in Sicily, one that we won't forget for sure.
Loved the location and the views from our window. Staying in a former convent felt good; nice, comfortable furniture outside the rooms were good for relaxing with friends. Easy to walk into town. We'd definitely stay there again. The beds and pillows were comfortable, too.
The evening fog coming up the mountain was atmospheric and wonderful. Erice is in a world of its own.
centrally located near all the sights, restaurants and shops. accommodations were great: comfortable, warm heater, comfortable bed, big shower with plenty of hot water.
Maurizio picked us up at the free parking area which can be a bit difficult to find and brings us to our apartment. coffee maker in the room made tasty coffee.
The place is in the middle of nature. A beautiful and different way to enjoy Sicily. They produce their own olive oil, vegetables etc which are available for breakfast. The venue is surrounded by trees, plants and grass which keep the place cool even when it's very hot outside.
Marco was a wonderful host, always ready to help.
The hotel is beautiful with the garden and rooftop. The room was ok, not that special but it has got everything you need.
The staff was so friendly!! They were always there to help you and make the experience in Erice the best! The breakfast was also really good! A lot of choice.
Would definitely recommend!
Antonio, the manager, was especially helpful with parking and luggage (an historic medieval town with no car access). He also gave us restaurant and sightseeing ideas for Erice and Trappani. We liked the hotel and Erice so much we stayed an extra night! We highly recommend Hotel Elimo.
The breakfast was very delicious and often homemade. The owners were really nice and polite and made our stay feel special! The room was clean and spacious. The place has an amazing garden with perfect views over the hills. 100% recommend if you like to feel the real Sicily.
Would not pass up any opportunity to visit Erice.. or Belle Vista. Hot water was important because it was super cold, the water was very hot. The comforter was goose down and kept me sleeping nice and snug. Host go out of their way to help you feel very comfortable.
Location is amazing, with a wonderful view from my room. Hoeever, it is a 2* hotel, bathroom was super small, you can hear efrom the surrounding rooms. Check-in guy was rather cold, the morning staff was better.
Host was very nice, spoke fluent English, dinner excellent, room clean. Rustic country side style, in a little town. The price is fair what you get in comparisson to other sites we stayed in Sicily.
Marco & staff were excellent. Breakfast was great, with many choices. The grounds were fantastic, and we took several morning walks. Conveniently located to see that section of Sicily.
Friendly host, parking in front of the house on the calm street. Nearby to the sea, Trapani/Erice. Next to the Pizzolungo hill. Good coffee and breakfast.
