Anna and Vincenzo are so nice and welcoming and full of helpful information about Caccamo. Their apartment is spacious and spotless, light and airy, with a very nice breakfast provided. It's easy to arrive by car and easy to park, and everything is easy to get to on foot--don't miss the Castello and the Badia!

Modern design, comfortable bed, good shower, spacious. Helpful hosts, willing to help with your problems. Great location. We made a mistake and choose a room with internal courtyard view, better to chose castle view rooms. host was very nice to offer us upgrade to a bit better room, on second floor, free of charge, unfortunately all rooms with Castle view were occupied.

Rosa Maria and her family are lovely, caring people. The room is large, comfortable and has a generous en suite with good hot water pressure in the shower..
The view is of a charming stone alley, very central to town and close to the Castello di Caccamo; the oldest Norman castle in Sicily (Italy?)
Sat TV, Aircon, Fridge in the room...a lovely stay with lovely hosts.

We loved the stay. The host ladies welcomed us warmly and generously prepared complimentary drinks and snacks. The location is great as it’s right next to the castle and a lovely restaurant. Omg we loved the food of this local restaurant! So grateful and so happy we chose to stay here. Recommend to everyone who wants to experience some local Sicilian culture in this cute town.

An authentic Italian house with a breathtaking view over the castle of Caccamo.
Lovely location, house with the kitchen and all cooking utensils. Also there few nice restsurant and takeaways few steps Breakfast includes Coffee and lovely pastry in the Cafe Royal just across the road.
We stayed few nights while visiting Cefalu and Palermo.
Caccamo castle is worth a visit,it's around £6 adult ticket. We did not go to the lake, but it looked beautiful and offers some kayaking and fishing experiences.
The local churches are amazing too.Overall, very nice location, that gets overlooked by tourists.
This apartment is fabulous! It's newly refurbished and has all the amenities you would require ( only thing missing was a kettle for making tea) including a fabulous shower, very comfortable bed, and a kitchen should you want to cook. We arrived really late but the host was very friendly and accommodating. Free parking in the square just outside the door! Highly recommended!

We used Caccamo as the base to explore the northern part of Sicily (Palermo, Cefalu, etc.), since the rates in the central cities were skyrocketing in the busy season. Caccamo itself is a nice little town with a couple of good restaurants and a castle.
Warning: Even if your GPS tells you otherwise, use road 285, not 121 to get to Caccamo. 121 is a very narrow suburban road, a scary driving experience.

The town is set in the mountains with great views, a wonderful castle and many medieval buildings. It should be properly pedestrinised as the traffic is a nightmare. Felt quite closed by late October when we visited. Lots and f unrealised potential but certainly worth a visit.
