Jodhpur has a rich cultural heritage and the people of Jodhpur are lovely. My favourite experience was visiting Mehrangarh Fort, it was beautiful. My guided tour was provided by a knowledgeable guide, Nagendar Singh. Getting around the place was fairly easy. I was also pleased with my stay at Ranbanka Palace Hotel. I also got to try the local cuisine.

Jodhpur is a small but beautiful city with almost all tourist places close to each other. One could enjoy quality time calmly. One can plan for short term holidays. In two days almost all the beautiful places could be covered up and can enjoy authentic Rajasthani food too. Recommended to visit during winter.

After stays in Delhi, Agra and Jaipur it was a relief to come to Jodhpur. The city was full of interesting streets and markets to explore, fascinating history and architecture, with a grand fort on top of the hill.
We stayed for 2 days and enjoyed a walking tour of the city at night, an adrenaline-filled morning ziplining up at the fort and a 4 hour visit to Bishnoi village and the surrounding area. We would have happily stayed for another day or two if we had had the time.
We stayed in Khamma Heritage, in the heart of the old city, a very nice small hotel with lovely owners.
On the advice of others we ate one evening meal on the rooftop at Hotel Indique, in Pal Haveli. It was fantastic, with a wide range of Indian and non-Indian food and a good drinks menu. Blankets and heaters provided plenty of warmth on a chilly evening and the views were wonderful.

2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
2 days are enough to cover Jophpur.
The locals are nice and friendly. I would suggest not to take big car to jodhpur as the streets are too narrow in the old city area (where most of the tourist spots are). If possible rent a two-wheeler there and cover all the spots otherwise you can also get autos.
You can visit Osian district where you can enjoy desert safari and cultural programs (food, dance, singing). There is a famous sachchai mata temple there. Its a must visit (very clean and quite with a beautiful view of the city).
Food:
Must tries-Vijay Restaurant (ask for their specials and they will recommend you the best, do ask for lassan ki chatni), Mishrilal lassi wala (try their Malayi lassi-just amazing). Rajasthani thali
Local finds: Pyaaz ki kachori, mewa kachori (if you are sweet tooth), mirchi bada, daal bada and kabuli.

We loved the city.
We loved the city. It was much cleaner than other indian cities. And it is walkable! You can see the pride of the people here to live here. Also lots of places for shopping and most cafe's have rooftop terraces. Always great view while eating.
Everything! This is a must stay when travelling to Jodhpur! The hotel is beautifully decorated in the signature colour. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the location is just perfect. Also a must is the cooking course provided by the hotel with the owner’s wife. This was my favourite activity in our whole journey.
Normally I wouldn’t say this, but in this case book everything through the hotel. They get you the best deal and the best services. So, tours, the cooking course, transfer to a next destination etc.
Beautiful authentic stay in an old haveli in Jodhpur.
We stayed in a budget room, which was already a very cool experience with a very comfortable bed and a hot (but short) shower. The best: AMAZING view from the restaurant with AMAZING food. We actually had every meal (breakfast twice, lunch twice, dinner twice) at the restaurant as it was so good and also the best view to the fort. Very friendly staff helped us with laundry service and booking a private car to Jaisalmer.
The hotel is an old haveli really beautiful. The best of all is the attention of the man who runs the hotel, very attentive to us from the first moment to the end. He even walked us through the streets of Jodhpur from the hotel to help us find a famous viewpoint. The spacious room has a hall at the entrance where there is also the bathroom. Everything clean, very quiet. They make a good breakfast for you at the time you tell them.
It was without a doubt my favorite place I stayed on my trip to India. The location is excellent, the rooms are beautiful and everything is incredibly clean. The kindness of the owners is great, and she cooks like no one else, my best Indian dinners have also been here! I recommend this accommodation to everyone who visits Jodhpur and if not, I recommend going to eat on the terrace they have
This boutique hotel is a peaceful gem tucked into the busy city. We stayed here for our first visit to Jodhpur visiting from the US. The property is so thoughtfully decorated with vines and flowers climbing the wall. The A/C and the shower were very good and the staff was very attentive to our needs, including special requests during breakfast and making reservations for food.
Great location- walking distance from local tourist and shopping attractions. Staff is great. Property owner Vikram Singh and resident manager Ranjit Kumar took care personally our breakfast, dinner, gave us complimentary tea and bottled water generously. They try their best to make guest happy. I must appreciate their hospitality. Highly recommended this hotel.
The location was perfect and we really enjoyed the family homestay. Prafful was kind, helpful, and a joy to be around. We only have one day in Jodhpur and were worried we wouldn’t have enough time to see everything… after 2 minutes with him we had a full day plan plus recs for the best lassi and food snacks (super authentic and delicious).
Arch Boutique Hotel is well-located in the center of Jodhpur's old town next to the step well and within easy walking distance to the fort. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable with A/C and decent WiFi (by Indian standards). Breakfast is available at the cafe next door. I enjoyed at Arch Boutique Hotel and would return.
A great place to stay in Jodhpur, very beautiful old style haveli hotel with nice rooms and an amazing view of the fort from the rooftop restaurant. Perfect location near the clock tower and many of the best sights to see in the city. Be sure to find the incredible stepwell that's just a few minutes walk away.
I wouldn't hesitate to label it as the best in Jodhpur, especially when comparing it to other hotels where I've stayed. The common areas and rooftop restaurant contribute significantly to the ambiance of the place. Moreover, the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
Suraj Haveli was the perfect accommodation for Jodhpur. The family are so welcoming and helped planned my itinerary for the city. The homemade dinner is some of the best food I’ve had in India. The property is in a great location and the rooms are super comfortable. I recommend this place!
Very authentic place to stay in Jodhpur. The building is an old Haveli, with its own history and charm. The views from the rooftop are among the best in Jodhpur. Staff was great, very friendly and flexible with our requests. Most welcoming accomodation of our India trip
The property had everything, it’s the closest to what I’d describe as perfect (and that says a lot as I’m a hotelier myself!). Amicable and knowledgable staff, impeccable grounds, well appointed and comfortable rooms and plenty of Jodhpuri history infused into the vibe.
Great location property in the heart of the Old Town of Jodhpur. Rooms very spacious, comfy bed and great A/C. Owner Manu, was very friendly and nice. View from the top of the hotel is one of the best in the city. Amazing. Highly recommend if coming to Jodhpur.
The Owner is polite and addresses any question you have immediately. The location is prime & easily walkable to most of the main attractions in Jodhpur. the rooms were clean and being a homestay the atmosphere was different from hotel and it was nice,
Loved this stay in Jodhpur - the hotel has the best rooftop views, great food and the service is unbeatable. Highly recommend staying here and eating here, a lot of thought has gone into the place and the Nepalese influence is amazing!
excellent property, well kept, better than the best branded other 5 star property of Jodhpur which was higher priced as I subsequently stayed in Taj Hari mahal. The food platter needs to be upgraded though to match Taj.
It was wonderful experience, location near railway station walking distance, cooperative staff on reception, they make your stay wonderful, must stay in this hotel when you come Jodhpur.
Banasa heritage haveli's staff is so kind and humble.I give 5 star rating to them. Very easy accessibility to the fort and clock tower market. Interior design of room was very very good.
