It was a very good experience At har ki podi attend ganga aarti. It was very blissfull. Local auto & taxi need to be more helpfull & transperent. Missed ola & uber services. If u r travelling u have to bargain with local transporters.

A great place. You can feel the heart beat of pious hindu sentiment here. Do not miss the Ganga Arti. The high point of Haridwar. Ganga is the main and only attraction here. Haridwar is a must one time visit.
Haridwar is a must one time visit. If you are not visiting for any specific purpose or it’s your first visit, strictly avoid any religious festival. It is very very crowded at those times. There are many places to visit nearby so plan for 3-4 days. Har ki peri, Mansa devi temple,Chandi devi temple , Rishikesh are some places to visit not to miss Ganga Arti at Har ki peri. Try Halwa from Mohan Poori wala at Har ki peri.AAnonymous
