Wonderful location, facing the mountains. Our room had a great view though it was misty and cloudy most of the time. Fairly large room with a sitting area and plenty of windows to enjoy the view. The restaurant was great, plenty of tasty items during breakfast and dinner menu was good.

Don't miss Rock garden. Though the road was shaky, the drive was adventurous, thrilling.
Peace pagoda was really peaceful but the restrooms were worst.
Restrict your visit to few points and enjoy the climate.

Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks...
Going to see the sunrise at Tiger Hill and Everest peaks were a bit disappointing as there was a fair bit of pollution and cloud, so not clear to see. Very cold as well, waiting for sunrise, but plenty of vendors selling hot drinks.
Sherpa Tensing Norgay’s house is a must see( although I didn’t as I became ill), as is ‘toy’ train, which is a narrow train that chugs up and down through nearby towns.
There is a huge Body Shop as well.
Tea plantations are interesting but not open all the time.
Clothing is fairly cheap, especially puffer jackets.

City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit..
City of Darjeeling has as such nothing to visit.. Entire town streets full of warm clothe shops and nothing else.. however, nearby places are good as usual.. this is my 5th time to the place and not new.. people with 3-4 days time can explore various places, talk to nature, enjoy the cool bridge..

When I first arrived in Darjeeling, I noticed it was crowded...
When I first arrived in Darjeeling, I noticed it was crowded and a bit polluted. But, overlooking that, the city offered an amazing view of the Himalayan ranges. The downtown area felt like any other hill station, with cozy cafes, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Despite the hustle and bustle, the real charm of Darjeeling became clear – it's a place where the beauty of nature shines through, making it special despite the city buzz.
Just stayed for 3 nights with my family. We booked 2 rooms in reasonable price from booking. both of the rooms were fantastic.
1. Nice valley view from our room.
2. Super clean bathrooms.
3. Room service was excellent. They refilled room amenities timely.
4. Location is great. On the left, upward road goes to bhanu bhaban in 5mins and shortcut to mall chowrasta. On the right 5-7 mins Walking distance to Glenarys, Keventers, Clock Towert and mall market.
Highly recommended for family travelers. My family loved this Hotel.
The stay at Darjeeling Heights Homestay was wonderful and so was the view from the hotel. The most amazing thing was the behavior of the staff there. They were very welcoming and nice. We really enjoyed our stay there and the staff really made it very homely. The spacious property is very tastefully decorated which made the ambience warm and cozy. And last but not least, the cooking was very delicious.
Once inside the hotel, we found it very beautiful. The well trained staffs and their hospitality impressed us a lot. The happy tea hour between 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM was a pleasant surprise. We enjoyed the Darjeeling tea & Jhal muri. Room service was excellent. Travel Desk was very cooperating and efficient. Housekeeping is really commendable.
I wanted a pocket friendly, clean place to stay away from the hustle bustle of darjeeling but not too far from the mall. This hotel is nothing fancy but we got n Excellent view of the kanchenjanga range from here...its quiet n clean. The best thing was they provided a bed warmer and that was so so cosy.
The rooms are spacious very clean and quite cizy, the room heaters and the toilet is proper.....the climb up to the hotel is a little steep ,only 4 wheel drive cars can go,nice place with Mountain and rhododendron view.....about 15 mints by car from Darjeeling chowk Bazar
There is nothing to like at this hotel, u have to walk a lot of distance to reach the hotel from Darjeeling mall, the caretaker does not help you,it is very inconvenient if you have heavy luggage or travelling with a child, stay somewhere closer,do not stay in this hotel
The view of Kanchenjungha and Darjeeling from the room was amazing and breathtaking. The staffs at the hotel were very cooperative and helpful. The rooms were spacious and well maintained and designed. It was perfect for a family trip with elderly and kids.
Better stay at batasia loop instead of darjeeling..darjeelingis over crowded..here incredible scenery....and hotel is located at perfect place...awesome view from roof and balcony, very clean, and the best thing is hospitality. Above all superb!
Hospitality is superb. Very warm behaviour of all staff of this hotel. room is clean. Wifi is available on every floor. location is very good. A few minutes walking distance from mall road and Darjeeling station. Overall very good hotel.
The hotel was super clean with friendly staff members. It was parking and is closer to batasia loop on the main road. The location is wonderful as you can reach Darjeeling main market within 6kms and yet enjoy your serenity of nature
I have visited many cities of India.. but the kind of fresh, delicious and hygienic food,
neat and clean room and
most well behaved staff..
I got at Tharbaling homestay in Darjeeling,
I never found such a outstanding hotel.. 👍👍
The location of the hotel is no doubt a plus point. It is located at the central Darjeeling very close to Mall Road which takes 3 miutes. Secondly, the view is something that you will absolutely love and cleanliness mantained.
Clean and comfortable rooms in a heritage property, very close to the center of Darjeeling but still quiet and secluded, wonderful staff, this hotel had it all. When we wanted an off-menu dish for dinner the staff obliged.
Brilliant! THE place in Darjeeling, for a cosy, comfortable, delightful little place! Shukrit the host, is absolutely marvelous! The best I've had in the last 15 years, I feel... The cuisine was phenomenal, too!
We really liked the hospitality of the hotel and also the location is fantastic, you can see toy trains all the time and the mall is also easily accessible. All services are fluent and staff is very friendly.
It was an amazing stay . I recommend all the Darjeeling lovers to check the hotel out . You can enjoy the beautiful view with a cup of Darjeeling tea which the hotel provides as a complimentary.
