Murphy's Hotel, hotel in Tobercurry

This family-owned and managed hotel, combines elegance and style in design with that friendly atmosphere you expect in a family-run hotel.

This hotel is in the center of a small town and has its own restaurant. The manager aloud us to put our two motorcycles in the hotel. So glad, cause parking outside in the center of town isn’t what we wanted. The room was good and everything works perfectly. The hotel also has a restaurant which serves delicious food. This on its own is a big plus. Staff is helpful and attentive.breakfast was made to order and tested wonderful. The hotel has an old fashioned interior, but very well maintained. I loved it. I definitely recommend them.

    I've never been to Tobercurry.

I've never been to Tobercurry. Tubercurry has lots of pubs and the Catholic Church is quite splendid. I didn't get a chance to go skiing but I'm sure it's wonderful. Keep driving and you'll be in Sligo before long.

From this location we drove to Our Lady's Shrine at Knock.

From this location we drove to Our Lady's Shrine at Knock. Also able to reach Kylemore Abbey a most beautiful building on the banks of Louch Kylemore. The scenery is spectacular. After a long drive having a restaurant at Crawley Guesthouse was most welcome for the evening meal.

Spotlessly clean and the staff were fantastic. Our room - 6, was huge and had two double beds. The bathroom was also huge. We had dinner each evening in the hotel and the food was fantastic. The roast beef dinner was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! Great parking at the rear of the hotel which was secured at night. The hotel was a great base for touring the county.

Location is quite good and staff are very very friendly. TV in the room though was absolutely tiny and shower pressure was very hit and miss but overall not a bad hotel and will certainly stay again.
