We had a family get together for my mums 90th Birthday. We all had a lovely few days. The meal on the Saturday was lovely and the staff in the restaurant were so efficient and friendly. Kevin the restaurant manager was 1st class and made the whole event a special time from beginning to end. The reception staff were so helpful too. Especially Charlotte I think was her mame who is a trainee but went out of her way to help in any way she could

Lovely big room, very clean and well cared for. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Very friendly and helpful owner. Excellent tasty breakfast with wide choice. Beautiful view and gardens. Liked eating in the conservatory. Good amenities, with access to tea and coffee making facilities with loads of choice of different teas, iron, hairdryer and water. Highly recommend and in a lovely part of Ireland.
Athboy has more going on than first glance. Some great restaurants and eateries and two clubs for the more energetic amongst us. It is perfectly positioned for Trim Castle, Boyne Valley, Newgrange. Perfect base for exploring.
