Nice little town, family-friendly, easy to get around by foot, with plenty of small restaurants, cafes and beach bars. Safe and clean streets. Beaches with clear water (albeit rocky, so beach shoes might be useful for getting in and out of the water).

It's a nice little city, but a bit boring, there are almost no events or similar. If you just want to beat time and do nothing except for swimming and eating then it is perfect for you, otherwise find a different city like Pula, Rovinj, Zadar, Split etc. There is much more to see and they are way more interesting. Very tourist place, too many restaurants, markets, apartments, souvenirs and stores for tourists. Rich evening program in streets (concerts, handmade market, exhibitions..), very clean and friendly environment. Nice beaches to swim, water sports and other activity. Best ice cream and coffee for us was Toš Kavana, rate *****. Transport from Czech republic was very clear and easy. This apartman creates a very nice atmosphere. Tastefully furnished, incredibly clean and you will find everything you need during your vacation in the apartment. The environment is quiet and safe. The beach in front of the hotel was very small but there are many public beaches in the vicinity. The city of Crikvenica was a 20 min walk. It's a nice city all in all. The room was cleaned every day. The furniture is fine, the bed was comfortable, the furniture wasn't old. The Island of Krk is on the opposite side. One can take a 1-hour-ride there or go by ship.
