Stunning hotel in the perfect location. Rooms are modern and spacious. I had a room with a balcony facing the harbor which was a real treat. Breakfast was pleasant and served inside or outside overlooking the harbor.

The hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. Old world charm, with a heavenly view over the sea. The staff were so kind. Best all was Zoe, the concierge - who went above and beyond to help us.

Lovely family hotel in great location close to the port & beaches. Rooms spacious and clean with option to go onto the sea view roof terrace. Christianna was exceptionally helpful and kind. Breakfast was really good; freshly squeezed Orange juice, omelette to order, fresh pastries, delicious home made jams, yoghurt & fresh figs. Hotel also provided us with beach towels when we needed and picked us up from the port.

Fantastic, excellent, amazing, and exceeded my expectations.
Fantastic, excellent, amazing, and exceeded my expectations. Visiting again for sure, can't wait to experience it once more. I didn't have inclusive breakfast, but knowing the hotel, I'm sure it would be good. There are so many bars and restaurants that cater to all needs, cheap and cheerful, middle-of-the-range, or high-end. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent and extremely central, a gem, charming, right in the heart of the island. The staff were very helpful, who went over and beyond, plus always cheerful. Happy to learn your needs and point you in the right direction. The owner: family-run hotel, who rescued an architecturally beautiful and run-down building and has been gradually renovating the hotel during wintertime. The guests don't see or hear any of the renovation works, they are behind the scenes, but they do gradually go on not seen or heard. The old lift in the hotel has a little of a modern sparkle about it, but it is delightful and has a lovely musical tinkle when in the lift, a must-experience. Most of the hotel rooms have sea views, but if you don't have a sea view, don't be alarmed, you will have a lovely spacious clean room with a view and perhaps and balcony, but if not whatever room you get: large or small, it is clean, comfortable and perfect for a beach holiday! After all it is an island and for what you are paying for a large or small room, balcony or not, you’re still getting an en-suite and great value for money; on a beach holiday, you’re out all the time enjoying the sea and sun and local cuisines, not sitting in the hotel room! It really is value for money and more! It has a lift, and the building has character. My room was very comfortable. If you are looking to save costs and want an all exclusive, book the room and you will find all types of catering needs across the island: cheap-middle range-high end.

Beautiful island with lots of flowers.
Beautiful island with lots of flowers. Relatively little traffic. Bring your walking shoes and some water shoes for the pebble beaches. Ask for recommendations about where to eat and make reservations if you go in high season. Definitely take a round the island boat trip - that was the best thing we did. We chose Lefteris Tsanas https://www.facebook.com/p/Spetses-Fishing-trips-and-traditional-boat-tours-100069392708838/. The cost was very reasonable and he is a knowledgeable and personable tour guide and local fisherman who supports sustainable fishing practices for the entire island. He brought along Greek mezes for our trip which were homemade and included octopus he had caught himself...it was magical!

Our favourite places was new port and old port.
Our favourite places was new port and old port. It was easy to walk around the center, but for beaches you have to go with motorbike or bicycle. I was impressed with the hospitality of the locals and their willingness to help. Also we ate at patralis fish tavern and Agios in the center the food was great. The beaches were good in a stunning location, the disadvantage was that they have small stones, not sand.

Hotel Kastro is in a deal location for walking about Spetses town. Lots of cafes and eateries. Our favourite was PATRALIS, definitely! Freshly prepared dishes to cater for all tastes. Plus service and hospitality at KASTRO HOTEL exceeded expectations! Their breakfast had a huge variety and was enjoyed thoroughly sitting next to pool and shady trees! Loved it! Thanking Christian’s and Svet and the team for going above and beyond.

Not crowded and not very touristy.
Not crowded and not very touristy. Mostly Greeks on holiday and locals.
Nice shops cafes, tavernas etc.restaurant in the old port were great. We loved Patralis in the other direction it had wonderful seafood. Except when we went to the beaches we walked everywhere.
Transport is taxi, bus, horse and cart or you can hire bikes or mopeds. Keep the number of your hotel handy so if the bus is full on your way home from the beach they can send you a taxi.
People were all very nice. Would visit again
really amazing thought-through design and very cosy atmosphere. loved our room which was airy and light. really delicious breakfast. we just chilled for four days by the pool looking into the bougainvillea or did little trips in the area. the owner Karl was always there for us when we needed something and provided us with great tips for restaurants and beaches and organised for ebikes/quad to be brought to the hotel for us which was very convenient. we loved our stay in Spetses and can’t wait to come back!
What an absolute treat to stay at this lovely hotel! Everything was so wonderful from the location, the room, the breakfast and the exceptional owners and staff. I wished our stay was longer and it was so hard to leave. Spetses is a beautiful island full of flowers and very good restaurants, bars and shops. A boat trip around the island is a MUST as some of the inaccessible beaches are so beautiful. This feels like an unspoiled and authentically Greek island with so much charm.
We were wowed by the nicely designed space. Loved the lighting around the spacious apartment. The sleeper sofa is comfortable. My kids had the best sleep. They also enjoyed the large tv with Netflix. We did not use the kitchen but it is outfitted with new and modern appliances. Freshly baked goods were left at our door every morning. Our toddler had a pair of pants which we did not realize we lost until we found it hanging outside the door. Thank you for a wonderful stay at Spetses!
The hotel was beautiful and clean, had all the facilities we needed (a dip in the pool was an excellent way to start the day) and the breakfast buffet was delicious and varied from day to day. Tonia and her Mum went above and beyond picking us up from the ferry port and dropping our bags down to us whilst we were out exploring in the morning on the day of departure. They were also both more than happy to provide advice about the island, things to do and where to go.
Fantastic location on the sea front, walking distance from the ferry terminal. Spacious units with handy kitchenette and decently sized fridge - super if you have kids that suddenly go hungry. The pool is fantastic for kids and adults (separated).
Breakfasts were idyllic, outside with a view of the sea, great beroert and the best yogurt!
I would easily say it’s the best destination to stay in Spetses.
Daily cleaning, friendly staff, comfortable beds.
This is a small family run boutique hotel close to the ferry and waterfront. The hotel access is off of a small road/alley. Had to ask locals where it is. Once in the hotel compound, it was very nice. The hotel is safe (close to police station) and in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Rooms are on the small size. Breakfast is good. small balcony. View of water from some rooms.
It was the 2nd time that we booked at this hotel. We assume that it still the best hotel with private beach in Spetses for this value
Hotel had organised well breakfast handling, assuming that we are still apply covid restrictions. Very good breakfast.
Room was comfortable for 3 persons and airconditioning worked well.
Most of the personel was poliite, thanks for your hospitality.
fantastic hotel and great owners/staff. pick up and drop off at port…
wonderful pool and superb BBH breakfast.
only small downside is location, about a 15/20 minute walk into town which means those with mobility issues might sstruggle.
there is a decent beach within a 10 minute walk
Great location. Walking distance to everything. Lovely and friendly owner/staff. Clean/spotless place. Delicious daily breakfast. Yummy Homemade jam made by the owner.:-) Great experience at Kastro Hotel. Highly recommend this place. My family loved it, and we will certainly go back!
The hotel is in a near a bus station - called "Spetses-Hotel" runs almost every hour, 1km away from Dapia Center)
Breakfast was not rich but adequate
Good WiFi (even in the 2nd floor)
Shower pressure and the toilet water pressure ok
TV Signal ok
Soft pillows and bed.
not only beautifully restored villa, it was also well thought through.
nice position back from the road (noise) but great views and breeze on upper veranda
tastefully designed furniture and comfortable living space
close to Khaiki beach, one of the best
Spacious rooms with a lot of light coming in, clean spotless and with amenities. Rich buffet, for breakfast in the lovely garden and service with a smile 24/7. I recommend the hotel to anyone looking to enjoy spetses and a stroll around the old Port.
NICE SMALL FAMILY HOTEL WITH A COZY SWIMMING POOL. RENOVATED ROOM AND VERY CONFORTABLE BED !!!
GOOD LOCATION , CLOSE TO DAPIA (CENTER OF SPETSES ISLAND) BY FOOT AND CLOSE TO
THE PORT AND RESTAURANTS, SHOPS, BUSES, ETC...
The breakfast was excellent with a great choice. The location was central but surprisingly quiet. The staff was very kind and helpful. Armata hotel is absolutely a beautiful hotel, paying attention to every detail.
beautiful property in a perfect location. room was spotless clean and refreshed daily. breakfast was delicious and varied. staff were attentive and very friendly. will always stay here on trips to Spetses.
It is situated right at the heart of the town, everything you need is on the same street. The staff members, especially Klimis and Stephanie are helpful and friendly. Breakfast is delicious.
a beautiful boutique hotel on Spetses .
full of character and welcoming in their attitude. loved the old merchants house and small touches that made you feel at home easily
Great location and central to everything. New hotel so everything is still shiny. Comfortable bed. Staff were lovely. When I come back to Spetses I would stay again
Nice hosts, very clean, quiet location(except sometimes in the morning) nicely furnished, If I would come back in Spetses probably I will stay in the same location
It's a nice hotel located 5-10 minutes walk from the port. Our room was small, with a balcony facing the courtyard and it was clean. The owners were very nice.
