The hotel deserve its 4 stars, is very fancy, modern, the room and the bad were large, the bed was very comfy, the breakfast rich and tasty, the staff very friendly and helpful, even in the night time. We had drinks for free in the fridge of the room and free capuccino and espresso at breakfast, things that you don`t get usually in others hotels in Greece. Closed to the beautiful sandy beach. Very clean and the price was fair. The best hotel in the area. We decided to stay again and longer next year.

It felt very Greek, it was compact but there were more than enough bars and restaurants to choose from. Ideal for couples and families, and not a loud and brash resort but with plenty of places to have a relaxing cocktail with lovely views before dinner. We had been put off one place because the board seemed to be a snack bar - "club sandwiches and burgers" advertised but discovered that it was the best place for cocktails and that they grew their tomatoes etc. - the salads looked great We also liked the bar furthest away from the harbour where we got a sunbed and a free drink for 5 Euros. Finikounta is easy to explore on foot but talking to "regulars" there is a lot to see in the surrounding areas so would hire a car next time.

Typical small Greek resort.
Typical small Greek resort. Several tavernas with excellent food reasonably priced. Scattering of tourist shops, bakers and supermarkets. Mainly Greek tourists which gives it a laid back authentic vibe.

For me it’s perfect, not a big touristy area but plenty of good restaurants, a supermarket and above all a stunning bay with crystal clear sea to swim in. There are several places to visit nearby if you have a car: Methoni, Koroni, Poliminio waterfalls

Second time to resort this summer and will definitely be back. Very chilled out and easy. Only small bay, 15 minutes stroll from one end of bay to other but plenty tavernas and bars. Bays either side within walking distance and Lemondrops beach bar particularly good. Bus ride to Methoni and Pylos also worth doing and stunning views from Methoni Castle, a must!! Just check times of buses back! Finidriving, Finibikes, Oinyses food is great but to be fair we’ve never had a bad meal anywhere. Was described to us as a gem of a place and it is but shhhh don’t tell anyone! Enjoy

It was a lively resort without being too commercial.
It was a lively resort without being too commercial. On the whole, the food at the restaurants was excellent, and there is no surpassing the Greek value-for-money. The beaches were lovely and very child-friendly.

It is beautiful, Greek island feel on the mainland.
It is beautiful, Greek island feel on the mainland. Beautiful scenery with amazing historical sites in close proximity. Amazing choice of beaches (best being Mavrovouno with its sandy beach, crystal clear waters - perfect for kids). Good amenities and lots of good eateries - some excellent restaurants, particularly off the beaten track. It has water sports, boat trips, horse riding, or you can do absolutely nothing. The waterfront is beautiful at night. We love it.

Spacious apartment, comfort, varied breakfast with local ingredients, close to the beaches, although I think the pool is a better solution here, the sea is too cold even though the sun shines for days. Recommended for parents with small children.During our stay, we forgot our laptop in the room and traveled further. The reception very kindly informed us that we had forgotten the device in their hotel, and that we could pick it up at the reception. I greet Mrs. Tatjana, txs.
Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly.
Pool and garden area was fantastic and always very clean.
The hotel helped us with taxis and a really lovely driver who we used about 3 or 4 times. Very reasonable prices for everything.
9 minute slow walk to the main street and beach.
The restaurants were all fantastic. Especially Odysseus and Elena.
Would return to Tsokas and Finikounta.
We stayed here with our two kids and loved it. The flat is really cozy and has the most amazing view with a big balcony from where you can enjoy your meals overlooking the mountains and the ocean. The host and his family are very kind and generous. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay whilst visiting Finikounta and it’s surroundings we can highly recommend Donatos.
An old hotel with expensive prices without having renovated the basics! We were looking to find sockets to charge our mobile phones and in the end we found one outside the bathroom and one that unplugged the TV! The beds are very hard and uncomfortable and the sheets had hairs from others and stains! Normally they would have to pay me to stay, not to pay at all!
From the moment we made the booking the hotel contacted to see if we needed anyrhing more, suggedted other rooms for same booking/price
Very friendly welcome
Very helpful owners and very kind
If we go back to the area, we will come back, as the hotel is friendly, comfortable, just next to the shops, beach n restaurants.
I strongly recommend this address
The hotel is very close to the beach and the main street with tavernas. The room is big enough, and equipped with everything you can need. The whole place looked very modern and beautiful. The host was very nice and ready to help and said goodbye with a present of local products.
We loved the location in a quiet side of the village and looking to the sea. The room was quite big and super clean with all the comforts. The balcony was nice and with a nice sea view. The hotel looked overall very nice and the staff was always available. Recommended.
The apartment is located only few meters from the sea and the road where are all the restaurants, cafe and shops. There is a big supermarket beside where you can buy anything you need. Very important also that there is free parking place across the hotel.
Beautiful hotel within walking distance from the beach and town. Welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely breakfast. Nice ambiance in the studio and very clean. Good size balcony overlooking the swimming pool and the bay. Good swimming pool.
Very modern stylish rooms. They are located at the Eastern end of Finikounta and so close to beaches, bars and restaurants. It is possible to park your car on the beach-front 20 metres away
Cleanliness, friendly and available staff, silence, discretion, the wonderful parking right next to the hotel and the vicinity to the beach and centre of Finikounda.
Perfect small, friendly, quiet Hotel! Staff was amazing! Pool and an open pool bar, even though there weren't many guests. Good restaurants are close by foot.
