Set in the beautiful Shropshire village of Wrockwardine, on the outskirts of Telford, this splendid Georgian farmhouse provides the ideal base for a relaxing countryside break.

I booked this venue as was looking for something out of town but close enough to taxi in / out for a social event.
Considering this was only a mile and a half from Wellington Central I was blown away with the location. Having never visited Wrockwardine before, the village is stunning and the property itself just as picturesque. We parked to the rear of the property and as soon as we got to the front door were greeted by Sandie with a very warm welcome.
The property itself is packed full of character with the owners personal touches here and there in keeping with the age of the property. The room was plentiful, lots of space, homely and immaculate. Various options for tea, coffee etc in the room. Very quiet, no noises from other rooms etc. The bed was extremely comfortable, had a great night's sleep, which is unusual for me in a different bed.
We got back late which wasn't a problem as own key to front door.
Finished off our overnight stay with the best full.english I've had in a very long time. Honestly top notch!! Sandie was on hand to keep us topped up with coffees, extra toast etc. Needed another sleep after that!!
Cannot recommend this B&B enough and will definitely be staying again next time I'm in the area.
Thankyou.

We didn’t stay for breakfast because we needed an early start but they did offer to provide an early breakfast by we had made prior arrangements to meet my son in Doncaster for brunch 😀
Ideally situated between two large towns. Telford centre is a short 8minute drive then Shrewsbury is about 15-20minute drive. Both accessible by train or bus if preferred where Wellington has both stations. Wellington is a market town too where the Indoor and outdoor market is held on a Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Plenty of stalls and eating establishments within the market area too as well as Wellington having plenty of cafes, pubs and eating places.

The place was really charming with unique decor, slightly unusual but very homely. Our family room was of a decent size with everything in it one needed and some extra touches such as fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast was good and our Host very welcoming and accommodating.

being a disabled person, who relies on public transport. I liked both the train and bus station being just off the town centre. I also liked that it had got a nice selection of shops and an indoor market. There were also plenty of places to find something to eat.

Wellington looks like it was once a lovely market town - run down & closed shops/charity shops everywhere now - but there were a couple of good places to eat and have a drink - needs some regeneration & then town could be lovely again. We stayed because it had a reasonable hotel rate and was near to attractions in Shropshire like Ironbridge & Shrewsbury.
My stay was for work, but next time will be for leisure
The house is a delight and so tastefully set
Communication re check in very good as i was arriving late
The room was warm and just perfect , infact for a little B&B its better than many 4 star hotels iv stayed in
Sandie cooked breakfast of my choice which arrived hot and perfect poached eggs
The room was spotless and i can see why its always busy....

Very easy to gain access to the house using the key safe out the front of the property.
Less than 10 minute walk to Wellington Centre.
Great value in comparison to other properties in/around the area
Clean, tidy, convenient. This was a great find and I highly recommend it, beats any hotel in my opinion. Great value for money, lovely and warm, would definitely stay here again, I actually loved it that much I didn't want to leave the place. Look forward to staying here again!!!
Really lovely bungalow. It was spacious, spotless and really homely! It made our weekend of working a lot more enjoyable than sitting in a hotel room.
There were only 2 of us, but it would be just as comfortable with 4 people as the bedrooms and living area are a good size.
Clean, nice friendly staff, and landlords, big beautiful garden,Iyou can cook, you can wash your clothes, quiet street, nice location, you can walk from Wellington, big dining room and sitting room, perfect facilities for cooking, worth for money,
The house is just lovely and Sandi was so friendly. It was so nice to have a homely, interesting place to stay rather than sterile hotel with no atmosphere.
