Accommodation was very close to our sons Navy POP parade. Barry was very welcoming as soon as we arrived and explained everything that was available to us. Everything in the accommodation was very clean and fresh. Having a EV charger at the property was a massive plus for us and would recommend it to everyone.

Room was actually the tower suite, totally exceeded our expectations, the room was bright, clean and comfortable, up a small spiral staircase was the tower with a table and chairs to sit at, with amazing views.

Rooms at Bistrot Pierre has the complete package situated in a very pleasant area full of bars and restaurants.
The room was large and spacious also spotlessly clean.
The restaurant was very nice with a good ambiance. Food at the restaurant was excellent, both morning and evening.
Would highly recommend!!

Torpoint is a good place to base yourself to tour the area, and away from the bustle of Plymouth, lots to do nearby. Ferry closing at 21.30 is the only limitation, in terms of connectivity to Devon- Torpoint is in Cornwall...

We found Torpoint a nice quiet place during the mornings and evenings, but was in a position that it was easy to get to Plymouth via the passenger ferry which only took 8 mins to cross over the River Tamar and then connected with a Bus into Plymouth City Center and was next to Edgecumbe Park and House

I think it is misleading to call this Torpoint, as the place I stayed is actually Seaton, a lovely little village by the sea. The apartment was on a small complex in a lovely setting with fabulous sea views. Excellent accommodation - no phone signal but good wi-fi connection.
I ate at the Smugglers Inn and the Beach House, both walking distance from the apartment and excellent food. I also tried the cafe right on the beach for coffee and a very large slice of cake.
I walked along the beach to the Inn on the Shore in the next village Downderry, where coffee and free cake was on offer. There is a small shop here for basics but would recommend stopping in Liskeard for a bigger shop. I saw an Aldi and Morrisons.
There is a bus service to Plymouth and Liskeard but you need to plan as they are only about every two hours. I caught the bus from Plymouth to Liskeard ( due to rail strikes) and then booked a cab with a very friendly and helpful lady at MYKabs from Liskeard to Seaton.
All in all a very relaxing break and the weather was very kind for October.

I had bad experience, we are five including 3 children, staff provide 2 tissue roll a day . Waiter had long hair, cloth has full of hair, May be dog hair.
Cloth look like they never change , hygienic problem, beds are not comfortable. I already paid all money sadly. Otherwise I could move next day . No jug or glass , no shop closed to buy anything. Waiter are not friendly. We stayed 3 nights no towel replaced, what sort of 4 star is this ? Booking.com need to refund money or show propert 2 star .
I had sent a email about booking times as I was attending a wedding at the usual check in times for the hotel. I was reassured that it wouldn't be a issue coming early to drop my bags off and to my delight my room was available a hour after I arrived which made my visit to Torpoint alot less stressful then it needed to be! Breakfast was lovely and made on time, I had a breakfast at the cafe down the road the day prior and truthly the hotels breakfast was just as nice if not nicer then one I paid £10 down the road for.
It was a gorgeous little cottage in a magical setting. The courtyard was very handy for the dog (and tor us). The cottage was cosy and very nicely furnished. Dean was helpful and tried to assist with moving in and out, when I explained I had walking issues. We really enjoyed our stay. The WiFi was great! For a change. Found a brilliant Chinese takeaway in Torpoint. Parking was handy, outside the main gate.
We were in the Lodge downstairs. It centrally located with easy access to Cliffs, Millbrook, Cawsand, Kingsand, Torpoint & Plymouth. We thoroughly enjoyed the food it was absolutely yummy and Leah was absolutely fantastic.
The bed was comfortable and clean and the room was very inviting and fit our needs.
The pub was lovely, comfortable and welcoming. The view from our room looked out onto the river tamar so there was plenty to see as we relaxed in the mornings. Staff were wonderful and make us feel welcome. We were a short drive from the Torpoint ferry so got easily across to Devon or deeper into Cornwall.
Breakfast was amazing
Let down by broken window in the room which didn’t open.
As the hotel was quiet wondered why they didn’t give us a different room though autumn didn’t really expect to open it but room did become quite stuffy
Toiletries were nice bed was super confy
The staff were so very lovely and so welcoming. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The breakfast was great and the owner cooking a sausage and feeding it to our very excited puppy was a lovely touch. The bedroom was cosy and comfortable and the hotel had a lovely family feel.
Great access for Cornwall and torpoint. Great hosts, clean Lodge. Ideal for what we needed to be bear relatives and getting out and around. Weather poor but cannot blame that on the Carew Arms. Food excellent.
Location was spot on, easy to hop on the Ferry to Plymouth or a short drive (20 to 45 mins) to all the great places on the Torpoint peninsula. Also right next to a brilliant pub
The accommodation was really good, everything that we needed was there. The location was great for coastal walks to the nearby villages or the ferry to Plymouth.
