Loved everything about this property. Perfect for our mini weekend break away. The location was great and the bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on, just what was needed after a day of sightseeing.

The beautifully themed rooms with huge jacuzzi baths.
An absolutely charming and picturesque village. Full of history and character. A treat for photographers and artists. There are lots of options for eating and drinking. There is a very steep hill down to the harbour and back, it may be difficult to manage for some people as there is no vehicular access for visitors.

It is a beautiful village with a maze of quaint meandering streets and lovely cottages. There are some nice walks up each of the cliffs. The views are spectacular.
The car park at the top of the village is where the majority of cars must be parked. To get there it is a very steep climb up a hill for around 400-500 metres. If you cottages says parking is included be careful, as usually this means in the car park at the top of the village up the hill, and not in the village itself.
To the nearest Supermarket (Co-op) it’s around 1km (up the hill, back to the main road and turn left)
Monday mornings in the village are a nightmare as guests try to load their cars and delivery drivers try to drop off

Parking is impossible if you have any problems walking up and down very steep hills as the only carpark is at the top of the hill.
Eating out in the evening is limited to 3 places.
The high street leading down to the bay is quaint but many of the properties are neglected.

Staithes is an amazing little village right by the sea.
Staithes is an amazing little village right by the sea. Very picturesque and with lots of nice places to eat and drink (especially the Royal George) and a lovely Gallery . It's a great central location for visiting the rest of the seaside villages in North Yorkshire too.
Lovely little gem of a village. Very welcoming at the Royal George both Staff and locals. The rooms very nice, cosy and clean. The food and beverages was excellent value and tasty. Had scampi and the halumi fries when we arrived the breakfast the eggs benedict.
Definitely will be visiting again highly recommended 👌🏼 thank you so much
The cottage is very nice and in a great location, parking is a real plus. It could be a top-rated accommodation if managed better. After contacting Host and Stay on our return they apologised for the time spent addressing the problems and have assured us that the issues will be addressed they also made a part refund as a good gesture.
We stayed for one night at The Endeavour, absolutely fabulous location in the middle of Staithes. Room was lovely and clean with large shower. Breakfast was excellent and cooked by David who is a fabulous host with lots of local knowledge and information. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the area.
Staithes is a wonderful place full of history and unspoilt. Endevour is in the centre. Although Staithes is tiny. Mountains of food at the St George opposite.
Prebooked parking at Glenvale at top of hill for peace of mind...
Brilliant holiday cottage; immaculate in every way. Beautiful decor and colour scheme; everything that you would need for a weekend break and just perfect for a 'new to Staithes' visitor.
