The man in charge was very quick to sort out any little problems. Unlike some of the other hotels in Sidcup, I knew that my car, which I had to bring this time, was safe inside the locked gates at night, and during the day, if I wasn't there.

Quiet location, easy to find.
Reception was clean, welcoming and spacious with lounge chairs and bar.
Reception staff went above and beyond, we arrived early and they were able to arrange a room so we wouldn’t have to leave bags and return later.
Due to time restrictions we didn’t eat at the hotel but the offering looked good and the restaurant was clean and spacious.
Rooms were clean and the pillows were extremely comfortable.
No frills but everything you could need iron, ironing board, full length mirror, large comfortable bed.
Refrigerator was a nice touch, tea and coffee,
Safe.
Bathroom clean and spacious with refillable toiletries so less waste, more eco friendly, nice quality products, perfectly sufficient for our stay.
All in customer service was excellent, friendly and professional.
Value for money compared with similar in the area. Stayed there as it was close to the O2 it was about 30 min walk but fairly straightforward.
I would return in future and would recommend this venue.
It would be useful for guests to be given a list of places...
It would be useful for guests to be given a list of places nearby eg Bromley, Orpington, Eltham, etc together with a list of bus numbers to take them there and where to catch the buses and/or train.
Guests using the 233 bus returning to Ruxley Rooms need to be told to stay on the bus till the Ruxley Nursery stop so that they don't have to cross a number of busy roads.
It is easy to find your way around Sidcup especially if you have an "Oyster Card".
I found a nice little place to eat called The Kitchen. They serve a range of homemade desserts as well as main meals.

The area wasn't the problem. The "hotel" was a dump.
The area wasn't the problem. The "hotel" was a dump. Entirely misrepresented in its advertising. Despite leaving after the first night of a 9 day booking the hotel refused any sort of refund. None of what the hotel advertised is true. No towels, no hot water, no wi-fi and no breakfast despite all being advertised as being available. STAY AT THIS "HOTEL" AT YOUR PERIL!!!!
I loved the bathroom and toilet experience. The place was also very neat. The cleaners came in to clean every morning and I never felt like my things were not secure. When anything was faulty, they repaired very quickly, there were no gaps. It was perfect for my husband and I. However, the room we booked was too tight for too many suitcases. Basically it was like a small hotel room.
The room was amazing, perfectly up to covid regulations with hygiene, justine was welcoming and offered lots of extras such as use if fridge if needed, smoking area was clean and tidy and is the best pet hotel I've been, my little one was comfortable, and made to be welcome , local parks and supermarkets and cafes, what a hidden gem 💎
