Considering I was born within 2 miles of this Hotel I would give it some leeway. The juicy details were that I was born on Friday October 12 1945. While my dad , a squadron leader in Bomber Command waited for the result with his fellow airman, rear gunner Jack White. They waited in the 3 Fiddlers Inn in Giusborough. Old Nunthorpe is a small village on the south side of Middlesbrough at the edge of the North York Moors. Relatively close to the sea (Saltburn, Redcar, Staithes and Whitby), 10 minutes drive into the Yorkshire Dales and less an hour to Durham.
