We were made very welcome at The Bonnie Badger by all the staff who were very friendly. The room was beautifully clean - gorgeous bath! We travelled with our dog and she was also made very welcome - a bed and bowl were provided. We were absolutely delighted that Maisie was also welcome in the Stable Restaurant as we had thought we may only be able to eat in the Bar area. The food was exquisite for both of our evening meals - the breakfast was high quality. It was lovely to have the jars with the fresh fruit and the special apple, yoghurt and home-made granola - this all made such a welcome change to the usual breakfast buffet approach of other hotels. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - whilst it was busy, we still felt it was peaceful and private. Thank you to everyone at the Bonnie Badger.

Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people.
Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people. Expensive, but guess being close to Edinburgh things will be dearer. An excellent train service reasonably priced. Roadworks all over the place causing uproar on the roads when we were there but never once saw an actual workman working on the holes. Plenty of good eating places, a few cosy traditional pubs. Beautiful beach with plenty of access points. Many places of interest to visit such as the Seabird Centre, Tantallon Castle, National Museum of Flight and more.
Tesco and Aldi nearby. Two very good caravan/camping parks. Nice leisure centre. Everywhere you go there are marvellous containers of beautifully colourful flowers all planted by volunteers from the town.

Off season parking plentiful but I believe there are more restrictions in the summer.
The train station is close to the centre and it's only 30minutes to Edinburgh.

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

A Great Location.
Location location location! North Berwick is truly fabulous and East Beach View is in the best possible location. Literally, across the road from East Beach, with stunning view of Bass Rock, around the corner from an award winning Italian restaurant, Bostocks - amazing coffee shop, 20mins to Edinburgh. East Beach House is warm, welcoming, clean, comfy and stylish. It has EVERY for a fab holiday 💛 ….and the tap water makes a stunning cuppa
The apartment was gorgeous - really clean, cosy and just a few steps away from the one of North Berwick's beautiful beaches. Everything we needed was there and was all new and fresh. The bed was extremely comfortable and the wine and biscuits on arrival were a really nice touch. We were able to arrange a slightly earlier chek-in which was excellent and communication with the host was easy and friendly.
We had a wonderful weekend in North Berwick. Frank was a fantastic host, full of helpful advice, tips and thoughtful offers. The house was comfortable and perfect for a weekend away, and there were plenty of places to eat, drink and have fun nearby! A perfect place to access the beach, the national air museum and much more. Icing on the cake was seeing the Northern lights from the beach!
The property is perfectly located within the lovely town of North Berwick and accordingly within walking distance of the variety of restaurants, pubs and shops.
The property is beautiful presented and perfect for one person or couple occupancy, the shower is superior to most 4*/5* hotels and the perfect antidote after a day on one of the wonderful links golf courses in the area.
The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is easy to find, and within a 10 minute walk of North Berwick station- all the locals seem to know it, which speaks to having a good reputation. It was very quiet for both nights, which was a busy weekend during the Festival period. The lone staffperson (or manager) on-site was friendly.
We were very impressed by our welcome. All the staff were very attentive and courteous. The hotel has a very lively atmosphere and it was good to see the restaurant so busy. Our evening meal was excellent and exceeded our expectations.
We would certainly book this hotel again on our next visit to North Berwick.
The decor in the room was modern and cosy, and it was immaculate. The staff were professional and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and great value for money. The location was central to everything. Would highly recommend this hotel. North Berwick is stunning been several times, must see if visiting Scotland.
Great house in a small city with a great location - walking distance to the beach or golf course, restaurants and the train station to head into the city. The house was as shown in the pictures and was great for our group (2 couples). We were met by the host’s family to give us information about the house/area.
We traveled to North Berwick for The Scottish Open. Linda Vista was a good base for our group to rest after long days at the course with a great kitchen (beach view is wonderful from this space), two lounge areas and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to local restaurants as well as sunrise/ sunset beach walks.
A return visit here and it did not disappoint. A lovely property so well equipped, very clean and it’s locality to both the town centre and the beach is great. The owner is very responsive and helpful. The welcome pack is a helpful addition. We love this area and enjoyed staying again in this house.
Nice peaceful location only a short, pleasant walk to the town centre, either along the beach, around the golf course or through a couple quiet residential road.
Hotel offer a good range of exercise classes.
Nice big peaceful room, not sea facing on this visit but liked it was very spacious.
Having not stayed here for a number of years, the hotel had lost its way I can say that I loved my stay, there was absolutely nothing to fault. My room was upgraded on arrival, the food was all excellent, the staff very welcoming. I will definitely be back more regularly again.
This hotel is in a great location, easy walking to the beach and town centre . It has a relaxed feel with the staff doing everything possible to help you enjoy your stay. Great outdoor sunny seating area for food and drink. Very popular with locals too
