The cooked breakfast was pretty good. I would have preferred normal bacon to streaky.
I had to go & actually do the toast after my breakfast had arrived, when it started to go cold. I would have liked to have been asked what toast I would like then had it brought to me.

Room was comfortable, and very clean. The amenities were good tea coffee and that was also a mini bar that was very reasonably priced. The pubgarden was very nice with lots of tables with umbrellas and also covered areas for when it rained. We had dinner at the restaurant, and the food was very good quality delicious and reasonably priced. All in all a place we would return to.

If there is no air conditioning in the room, there should be fans available for ALL rooms in the event of hot weather. Room was unbearably hot. Sleep was scarce as a result. The rest of the stay was very good.

The location provided easy access to some of the sacred sites around the area, we drove to the Uffingham horse then walked to Wayland Smithy, before driving back south to Avebury and then home. The hotel was clean well cared for and the cost was incredibly cheaper than we expected. Thank you

Having said that, the room and public areas were clean and recently upgraded, although the bathroom was a little tired, and the sofa bed could do with cleaning/recovering. The reception area was cheerful and offered a good selection of snacks and drinks. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful, even giving us a hand with our heavy suitcase.
