This was a last minute stay after being let down by another hotel. The staff were very welcoming and extremely friendly - it was a very nice hotel and close enough to get to the airport early in the morning.

WE WERE JUST HAPPY TO BE HOME AGAIN , BUT IT HAS GONE DOWN HILL A BIT , BUT HAD A GREAT TIME CATCHING UP WITH FRIENDS AND TALKING OLD TIMES . WE HAD OUR WEDDING RECEPTION THERE 42 YEARS AGO PROBABLY NOT OF MUCH INTEREST TO OTHER TRAVELLERS WHY WE WERE THERE . BUT LOVED IT , WOULD LOVE TO STAY AGAIN FOR LONGER . Hotel was lovely, staff excellent but our toilet was blocked...
Hotel was lovely, staff excellent but our toilet was blocked and flooded the bathroom. The first night we couldn’t move rooms as the hotel was full . It was fixed the next day when we were at a wedding which was the reason we were there but within an hour blocked again and flooded the bathroom which was unpleasant.

We ate dinner and had drinks at the hotel restaurant which was good, but not great, and it was reasonably priced. The gardens to the rear of the hotel were beautifully maintained, ideal for weddings.
